As soon as the words left my mouth, all eyes turned towards me, filled with curiosity.

I pulled out an old tape I had saved for years and, using the venue's equipment, projected it onto the big screen.

On the screen, a couple was caught in a passionate moment, completely naked.

The male lead was Philip, and the female lead was Ryan's biological mother.

Their voices were clear.

"Molly, I love you, but she's just a stand-in."

"Philip, what about the child we just had? He's your flesh and blood."

"Don't worry. I'll bring him home and say I found him abandoned. I'll convince her to keep him."

Shock blanketed the room.

Philip turned pale, frozen in place.

After a tense silence, chaos broke out in the hall.

"Oh my God, so Philip is a jerk, cheating on his wife."

"He raised his lover's child while pretending it was another's. What a sly plan!"

"Hah! A role model? He's just a hypocrite."

Philip's face went from white to yellow and back to white.

He suddenly snatched the mic from my hand.

Loudly, he declared, "I already said it—I don't have feelings for Salem. Molly is my true love. Ryan is the product of our love."

I couldn't help but laugh. "Why are you so worked up? I knew all along Ryan wasn't your adopted son."

Philip stared at me, astonished. "Well, if that's the case, why did you willingly raise him?"

This question echoed through the crowd, resonating with everyone.

Their confusion returned, all eyes shifting back to me.

"Is this woman out of her mind? She's been cheated on, yet she takes in the guy's kid and raises him for years. I just can't wrap my head around it."

"She must have been insane."

"Seriously, she's being foolish and degrading herself. It's just mind-boggling."

At that moment, someone in the crowd angrily shouted, "What a shameless jerk."

And the crowd quickly joined in.

"Philip, you're such a scumbag."

"What role model? He's deceived everyone in town."

"A disgrace!"

"A loser!"

Among the guests were two reporters who had covered this story back in the day. They were filled with regret and slapped themselves hard. "We were blind back then."

The voices of condemnation grew louder, turning into a lively uproar. Molly trembled in fear, and Philip wrapped his arms around her shoulders, saying, "Molly, don't be scared. I'm here for you."

In this critical moment, it seemed Philip wanted to take a stand. He scanned the room with a smug air and said, "So what? Ryan is the love child of Molly and me. Now that our child is a PhD, we finally have our little family back together."

"I've realized that while fame and wealth are important, they mean nothing compared to love."
