But now?

Why is hell on my side?

"Pen" I ordered Ron as I heard him taking a deep breath. "Don't do this, boss. Talk to her--"

"BRING THE FUCKING PEN NOW!!" I yelled and it worked. He nodded repeatedly and brought a pen from the drawers.

"Boss..."

"Shut up. I can't keep her tied to me anymore if she doesn't want it. She has a life, Ron. Understand..."

He didn't say anything, but I couldn't get myself to sign the paper. I had my pen hovering over it. I had thought of many ways to tear up the paper, but I can't. I won't.

I tried to sign it again, but my heart stopped me. Should I talk to her?

"B-Boss"

I looked up at him. "S-See this" he handed me his phone.

I took the phone. A news channel was on.

Tears rolled down my eyes as I read the lines.

"Ex-wife of CEO of Anderson Corporation reportedly in a relationship with Ervin Hunter. They were seen together recently. They even said that they were thinking of their marriage soon. Well, I guess being a rival of her husband wasn't a big deal for--"

I threw the phone away.

So, she is already my ex-wife.

She loves him.

I should sign it.

"Boss..."

But I took the pen again and without thinking again, I signed the papers.

Hailey's POV

As I left his house, I didn't know what to do. I was guilty for what I did- for leaving him and for lying to him about my feelings. But again, now I can't expect him to accept me whenever I return like this.

I was going back to my house on my foot when suddenly someone grabbed me from behind. I wanted to scream, but he kept his hand on my mouth and stopped me. He tied my hands and legs with a rope and my mouth with a piece of cloth.

Am I being kidnapped?

I still tried to scream but was thrown in a car harshly. I tried getting out, but someone pulled me inside and the doors were locked and the car was driven away with its full acceleration.

I tried to see who the person was, but I couldn't see the driver, but I saw the man sitting beside me. But he was just another man.

I tried to scream again, but suddenly that man took out something-- wait no, oh god! It was an electric shock machine.

I nodded my head in denial but he gave me shocks and I blacked out.

I woke up and found myself in an isolated room. There was no one, and I remembered the first time I blanked out and was in a new room.

"Actually... I don't know. I never did it"

"What? You're kidding me. Robert's wife for a year is a virgin? Gosh, you are an excellent liar by the look on your face!"

"I... I am telling the truth"

"I will see that" he smirked and came close to me and as he was gonna take off my top, I ran away towards the door.

"LOCK!!" he yelled and the door was locked that second.

I feared even more. He will kill me now... he-- oh god.

I heard a chuckle and I turned around. "You really thought that?"

"I... it was worth a try," I said, trying to act as if I was not the most paranoid person alive.

"Well," he came and pulled me towards him. "This is worth a shot too"

I went back. "Please... no" I begged.

He didn't stop and pushed me on the bed while coming over me.

"Please..."

He looked at me. "Why are you resisting so much?"
