Caroline's POV

Days passed, and I didn't notice how everything changed so fast. Perhaps, we were both happy that we didn't even notice that sometimes we were living in a grayish part of our lives. I knew that there was nothing else that I might think about other than being grateful that I was still alive.

However, we were unaware that our child was about to come soon. I was so excited that I couldn't sleep properly. I didn't know what I would say whenever I thought that we would finally meet our baby soon. It felt like it was still the first time that I had a child.

Unfortunately, when my giving birth finally came Andrius made it more difficult because he was always quite busy especially when I gave birth to our second child.

I stared at my baby things, and I put them back together to clean every mess. I was excited to meet Karina again. I would be with my baby once I came to her so she would see him.

I wanted to ask for her advice again like how she managed to keep her healthy relationship with Favio despite that she didn't take good care of her looks.

I didn't know if I was insecure lately, but I gained weight and always smelled like milk. I didn't have the time to sleep in a row because I was taking care of Johnny.

Johnny was our second child, and it was so hard for me because he wasn't that easy to care for. After I finished putting his stuff, I quickly went to meet Karina again. We finally decided to meet at the mall today so we could purchase some items for my baby boy.

When we reached the mall, it wasn't a long time since we met her and her daughter. I was pleased when I saw her daughter walking. She was two years old while Johnny was only nine months that's why he still couldn't walk like her baby.

She waved at me and her daughter to do what she did. I waved back when they started walking in my direction. Karina kissed me on the cheek, and I did the same thing. We patted each other's shoulders on our child.

"I'm sorry for making you wait," she said.

"I didn't wait for long, Karina."

We decided to go to the baby clothing store when I started telling her what happened to my life.

"What makes you easily think that he doesn't have the same feelings for you anymore? Are you certain about it?" she asked. Karina approached me while she was holding a little clothing in her hands, she made sure that the clothes would fit her child.

I grabbed the steering to prevent her from continuing to drive. She gritted her teeth, and I saw where she was looking at.

Andrius was talking to a lady across the street from his building when I saw him. He was chuckling with her, and they seemed they have their world together. He gestured the lady to get inside the car, as he patted her on her head, and opened the door for her.

I made sure that I would witness everything that he had done until he went to the car and drove the car away. We were watching his car moving away from us which made me think that I needed to remember what occurred.

Karina clutched my arm, and I didn't know what he might be thinking. She sighed, and there was an anxiety on her face but she tried to hide it to make her feel better.

"Don't conclude so fast. Maybe, there's a good explanation about what happened."

It took me a minute to reply, "Yeah, I have trust in him. I know him, he will not dare to do it." My lips trembled as I cradled Johnny's head in my arms.
