“What kind of father curses his own son?! Frederic, listen to yourself!” Hamilton trembled with rage. “Even if Thaddeus doesn’t wake up right away, you’re the chairman. You can take over his duties. I can make the final call on the A5 Project. There is no reason to replace him at a time like this! If he wakes up and finds out what you’ve done, how betrayed do you think he’ll feel?”

Frederic’s face flushed with shame, and he sighed in frustration.

“Grandfather, please calm down,” Chad interjected smoothly, his smile gentle. “You’ve misunderstood Father, and you’ve misunderstood me. I have never had any intention of replacing Thaddeus.
