His Hybrid Mate novel Chapter 18

I sat in my bed eating cookies watching The Amazing World of Gumball. I jump up and down in my bed. I loved this show, other than Adventure Time. And Grojband.

Layla sat beside me smiling like the idiot she is.

"You have been smiling around me like this since the bonfire. That was a week ago." I mumble stuffing my face.

"He marked you. You are now officially his."

"Well duh, I was his ever since I saw him." I mutter making her laugh.

"I'm glad Royal found someone. He's always so serious." Layla smiles.

"Hey, wanna do something fun?" She ask as I nod smiling.

"Great, come on."

She brings me into Landon's room and pass me some perfume.

"This hides your scent." she sprays it on herself. I sniff her nodding.

"Yeah, you stink."

"Good, here."I take it spraying myself and frown.q

"Now we change."

We go through his clothing and I pick a polo shirt and jeans taking a belt to keep it on my waist. I take a SnapBack pushing my hair in it.

"Woah, you tots look like a dude."

"I still don't know what we're doing."

"Well, we are kidnapping ourselves, duh." I gave her a 'are you crazy' look

"Have you been using my razor?"

"Oh be quite. It'll be funny. The boys will freak."

"What about Dad?"

"Our parents are out on date weekend, they won't know a thing." she said going in our my room first and taking my pillow case putting some clothing inside.

"I'll go put some things in my pillow case. This will be so fun."

Layla leaves the room as I shake my head. She is beyond crazy, more or less. She comes back and we both throw our pillow cases out the window and jump afterwards.

"So how is this going to work?"

"Alright. Maxi bringing an unknown car, then we hop in Maxi will run to the boys saying how we been kidnapped then they'll come after us."

"How are you so sure they'll find us?"

"Royal marked you. It'll be easy. But we gotta go."

Maxi pulled up smirking at us shaking her head.

"if I hadn't known better, I would have thought y'all were boys." I laugh at her hopping in the car and tossing the pillow cases in the back.

"Alright, go jump in the lake and then run to the pack house. Freak out about how we're lost and only Royal and the boys come." Layla explains as Maxi nods sending a smile, then takes off.

"Let's go." I exclaim as she speeds off into the country. I have no clue what I'm getting myself into with Layla.

Royal POV

The guys and I were at the pack house discussing strategies. It all came to a stop when Maxi came running in muddy and clothing teared.

"What happened to you?" Drew ask anger and panic on his face.

I stand because I know she was with Freckles and Layla.

"We're in the house chilling then some guys climb through the window getting us from Kiki room first then Layla." she let out tears streaming down her face.

All I saw was red and tried to control my anger.

"How many guys?" Drew ask as she wiped her eyes.

"Only two. I couldn't recognize the scent. You gotta come. Let's go. They're going down the country side." She exclaimed stumbling as Drew held her waist.

"Alright. We're taking my truck." Landon demands as we rush out to the car.

"we have to go back to the house so I could trace Nicki's scent." I grunt as the boys nod.

Whoever took her will surly wish they were dead once I get my hands on them.

Nicki POV

As we got deep in the country we saw a lake got out the car, stripped then let the car dunk in.

"What do we do now?" I ask as she shrugs smiling.

He opens the car smiling "thank you." he buckles my belt kissing me before going to his side.

"Other than pizza, what do you like to eat?"

"Um, hamburgers." he smiles turning down a street.

"I know a place."

"Hey there Royal ." a girl smiles at him as he smiles back nodding.

"Hey, table for two."

"Two?" she ask as Royal holds my hand smiling down at me.

"Yup, two."

"This way." she says glaring at me.

We sit at a booth in the back. Royal sat across from I.

"What wold yo like to drink?"

"Coke." Royal grumbled looking at the menu.

She turned to me frowning. "and you?"

"um, dr pepper."

"mhhhhm, i'll be back."

I turn to Royal as he just smiles.

"I think she's in love with you." I smirk making him roll his eyes.

"nah, I think she likes you."

"That's just dumb."

"Nah, she probably mad because I'm here with you and you're not with her." he explains making me groan.

"you're impossible."

"the impossible is possible." he replied. I shake my head not saying anything else. He'd probably say something stupid.
