Fayette stared at Alto. She still had so many questions. Still didn't understand how Alto could be so sure of it. But what he was suggestion sounded...normal. It sounded like he was suggesting a relationship. Before she could think Fayette blurted out, "Do you want to go out with me?"

Alpha Bruno burst out laughing at Prince August's shocked face.

"Fayette," he said grabbing his side in an attempt to calm his laughter, "Great job sunshine."

Prince August shot a dark glare at Alpha Bruno that made the laughter die on his lips. He let go of Fayette's hands, causing a flurry of nervous movement from Fayette. Had she done something wrong? Did she upset him? Wasn't this what people asked when they wanted to get to know each other more?

With the thoughts still flying around in her head, she watched as Prince August walked around the table to her side. Sitting next to her, he reclaimed her hands and placed a lingering kiss on both of the palms that he held.

Flashbacks ran through Fayette's head of when they first met at the Blue Moon Ceremony and Alto had kissed her hand.

"I want to go out with you," he said looking up and flashing her a grin.

Fayette and Alto stared at each other for a few moments more until Fayette looked around, startled to remember that people were in the room with them.

The Queen was smiling next to the King who had yet to close his wide-open jaw in disbelief. Alpha Bruno was politely messing with a pen in his hands. Gavin was studying the moment with critical eyes, while crystal looked at the couple with a dreamy smile on her face.

Fayette shifted awkwardly in her chair. Prince August released one hand but held on to the other as he turned back to the watching eyes.

"Before Fayette goes to the academy, which," Prince August turned slightly to Fayette, "Is entirely your choice to make- I think it would be best if she is trained here for a few weeks or months on basic training and just learning general knowledge on how to shift."

Gavin looked at the Queen and nodded, "The process of shifting is always easier if a mate is present to help ease the pain."

The Queen looked at the King, giving him the power of decision.

The King sighed and looked up at the ceiling. "Fayette, Alpha Bruno says you are already trained in some basic fighting skills?"

Fayette nodded, "I practiced some self-defense when I had spare time from work, but it wasn't much. I think my duty's and work as an omega though have made me gather some endurance."

"Who taught you might I ask?" The King questioned.

Fayette turned to Alpha Bruno, confusion from what to say in her eyes.

Alpha Bruno leaned forward, "We have an omega who use to be a pack warrior from another Pack. She and Fayette are close so she insisted that Fayette learn some training."

"They will go back with me," Alpha Bruno said, staring at Fayette with hard eyes, trying his best to will her to be strong in the moment.

"But I-"

Suddenly the door burst open and a wail was heard from outside saying, "Lizzy no!"

"Now just hold your wolfy nose one second you lot!" Lizzy shouted standing in the doorway, with the crouched figure of Jane behind her, trying desperately to pull her back.

The King let out an ear-splitting growl from the other side of the room. "This is a matter of high privacy!"

"Well it involves my sweet cub, so you can bet it involves me!" Lizzy said, pulling herself up to her full height of 5'4 and glaring at everyone in the room.

"Guards!" The King yelled. His response, however, was met with silence. Turning his head more towards the door the King yelled again, "Guards!" Still, no one appeared.

Lizzy laughed. "You mean those two brutes who were standing at the door?" She made the motion of dusting her hands and shoulders off, "They won't wake up for another few hours I'm betting."
