"I called you twice," Lydia replied with a faint smile. She walked closer and looked at the invitation in Naomi's hand. "Thinking about the wedding?"

Naomi nodded.

"I’m not afraid of marrying Chris." She paused for a moment. "I just... feel like everything will change after that day."

Lydia understood what she meant. She did not answer immediately, simply standing beside Naomi as she looked at the same wedding dress.

"It will change," she said eventually.
