The truth-or-dare game finally began. The atmosphere, which had initially been filled only with conversation and laughter, grew livelier as several people started receiving challenges. Some of the girls who had been trying to get David's attention earlier were not spared from the game either.

Some were asked to answer who they liked most in the room, while others were challenged to approach someone and confess their feelings. Laughter and cheers continued to ring out, while David simply sat back among his friends, enjoying all the fun happening in the room.

Until finally, a question was directed at him.

"David, do you have a girlfriend?"

The atmosphere immediately changed. Several girls sitting not far from him turned to look. Even Eli, who had been doing nothing but playing with the glass in her hand, lifted her head.

David smiled faintly. "I'm not going to say."

"Why?"

"Come on, how long are you going to keep her a secret?"

"She's right. Is that girl here?"

"That's more than one question," David teased casually. "Besides, she's special."

The answer was immediately met with cheers.

"Then who is she?"

"Don't tell me it's Natalie!"

Several people laughed, but Eli did not. Her gaze remained fixed on David, waiting for him to deny the suspicion, as anyone who already had a girlfriend should have done.

However, David merely smiled as he raised his glass. Natalie, on the other hand, laughed brightly. She then moved closer and casually linked her arm through David's. "What's wrong if it's me? You don't approve?"

Everyone immediately laughed even louder.

"I knew it!"

"You two really do look like a couple!"

Natalie laughed even more, while David did not remove her arm. In fact, he shifted in his seat as though inviting Natalie to make herself comfortable beside him.

Meanwhile, Eli, who was sitting directly across from them, was completely ignored. Her chest felt tight.
