Naomi instinctively shook her head as she took a step backward. "No. I won't go! Let me go!!!"

"You don't get to make the decisions here," Falcon retorted with a faint smile. He gave the guards another signal.

Without wasting a second, several burly men immediately seized Naomi by the arms and forcibly escorted her toward another vehicle waiting outside.

"Mrs. Lydia!" Naomi cried out in panic as she desperately tried to look back.

Seeing that, Lydia stepped forward as well. "Naomi!" But her movement was immediately stopped when two guards grabbed her by the shoulders.

For the first time since the ambush had begun, Lydia's tone changed dramatically. "Let her go!"

Silas simply watched the scene of panic unfold without the slightest expression. At the doorway, Falcon paused for a moment before getting into the vehicle. As Naomi continued to be dragged away, she glared at him with undisguised hatred.

"If I'm really your target, then why are you dragging Mrs. Lydia into this?" Naomi demanded sharply.

Falcon did not answer immediately. He looked at Naomi for a long moment before slowly shaking his head. "You still don't understand, do you?"

Naomi frowned in confusion. Falcon then turned toward Lydia, who was still standing upright despite being heavily guarded by several men. The smile on Falcon's face gradually widened.

"You're the one I wanted to capture from the very beginning," Falcon said, pausing briefly before continuing, "But... you're not the real primary target." He lifted his chin toward Lydia. "She is."

Naomi's body instantly froze as the truth hit her. Her mind went blank for a few seconds, but only for a moment. The instant she saw Lydia still being restrained by several men, something inside her exploded.

"No!"

Summoning every ounce of strength she had left, Naomi suddenly lunged forward. The two men gripping her arms had no time to react as she threw her full weight into the attack and slammed her head directly into Falcon's face, standing only a few steps in front of her.

The force of the impact made Falcon stagger back half a step. A growl of pain and irritation escaped through clenched teeth as a thin stream of blood began to trickle from the bridge of his nose.

Several of his men froze in place. None of them had expected Naomi to still have the courage to fight back.

Naomi felt a sharp throbbing pain in her head from the impact, but she paid it no mind. She was breathing hard, her chest rising and falling rapidly, while her eyes remained fixed defiantly on the man before her.

"Don't touch Mrs. Lydia!" she shouted, her voice trembling. "If you're after me, let her go!"
