Logan's jealousy was so strong that it extended to her father—Lisa found it both hilarious and exasperating.

"Logan, I never realized you were this petty," Lisa whispered to him when Martha and Baldwin went into the kitchen.

"I've always been petty. You just never noticed," he admitted openly.

Lisa stifled a laugh.

Over the years, she had always been a child in front of her parents—hugging her father, giving him random kisses, or whining for piggyback rides was nothing out of the ordinary.

If Logan had been jealous over every little thing, he must've been suffering in silence for a long time.

"How about I take you to the hospital for a check-up later?" Lisa smiled, her eyes curving mischievously.

Logan glanced at her. Lisa leaned in closer. "Let's check if your uric acid levels have skyrocketed from all this jealousy!"

Logan's large palm found her waist, pulling her firmly into his arms. "You're still laughing at me?"

Her waist was a sensitive spot. Lisa shrieked, squirming in his embrace. "I'm just worried about you! I care about you—ah! Haha—stop!"

"Then show me how you care, in a different way," Logan murmured.

To outsiders, he was always proper and composed. But with his woman, he had all the playful mischief a man should have—perhaps even more than most.

Lisa knew exactly what he meant. This man could find any excuse to get some benefits for himself.

But this was the Cohen residence!

There were people in the kitchen, and her grandparents were on the balcony waiting for the cereus to bloom.

So many people were around, and yet he still wanted to steal a moment? He was like a thief sneaking into the police station to steal—bold beyond belief.

"Stop it, my mom might see," Lisa warned.

"So what if she sees? That just means our relationship is officially announced," Logan said, completely unbothered.

Martha's hand trembled, nearly dropping the dish. Her throat tightened before she let out a sharp, "What are you two doing?"

Lisa understood that tone all too well—her mom was about to explode.

"My hair got stuck," Lisa said immediately.

"And how exactly did your hair 'accidentally' get stuck?" Martha set the dish down and strode over. Sure enough, she saw Logan trying to untangle it.

Lisa was absolutely mortified. In a desperate attempt to defuse the situation, she blurted, "My ear was itchy, so I asked Uncle Logan to clean it for me. Somehow, my hair got tangled."

Ever since she was little, Lisa had loved getting her ears cleaned. It was either Baldwin or Logan who did it—never Martha, because Martha was too rough and made it hurt.

"You're an adult now, and you're still asking your uncle to clean your ears? Aren't you embarrassed?" Martha chided.

But her gaze was fixed on Logan's belt—and her words carried more than one meaning.
