Loving In Silence novel Chapter 5

"Casey is coming over tonight".

"Uh okay but why?".

"Sidney and I are having a girls night out since it's Friday and non of us has to go to work or school".

"Okay when will they be here?".

"Soon we won't stay for dinner though but Casey will".

She put down the fork and went upstairs to get ready. I went into the living room and watched what was on the channel. fairy odd parents. My mom came down later all dressed up.

"Nice, and where are you girls going again?".

"Taboo, a club".

"Is it safe, you know getting drunk next thing you wake up in a strangers bed, or wake up then later you have h. i. v or don't wake up at all".

"We'll be fine honey it's a well secured club, I have pepper spray". she smile.

I roll my eyes, then the door bell ring my mom heals were so loud in the room. I huff and got up.

"Hey ready to go?".

"Just let me grab my purse". My mom past me and I went to the door.

When Casey saw me he jumped into my arms making me stumble back but I caught my balance.

"well someone is happy to see you". Sidney smile.

"Hey Casey". i said when he let go.

Sidney was about to say something but I beat her.

". make sure he goes to bed when his watch alarms".

"I'll take care of him". i smile and she return it.

"Okay I'm ready". My mom said.

"Be safe".

"You too". i said and close the door.

Casey put down his bag pack.

"Nothing is wrong with me I don't like you. I never liked you.. okay maybe a bit but not anymore, not after I saw the real you I don't want a relationship with you. We're done, bye Apple". I huff and close the door before she could say anything else.

I Ignored her screaming outside and went back to Casey, smiling at how he pout, trying to work the remote.

"Sub". he huff.

I raise a eyebrow not knowing what he was talking about until he started giving signs then I knew he meant the subtitle. I took the remote and turn on the subtitle so he could read under it, he handed me a plate with a slice of pie and I took it smiling and sat him down beside me, turning of the lamp so we were in complete darkness. I pressed played on the remote and the show began. We watched 6 episodes until casey's watch went off at 11 pm. He enjoyed the show and I did too. Him cuddling up to me with my arms wrapped safely around him. I turned off the tv and we went upstairs and into my bathroom, we brush our teeth and went back to my room.

"Guest room?". I ask and watch how he tilt his head to the side.

"Or sleep with me".

I pointed to the bed then back at me, he gasp when he got it an nod. He brought his bag into the bathroom to change and I changed in the room, I put on a shirt because I thought Casey would be uncomfortable. He came out in his pajamas while I was in sweats. He went on the bed first and I climbed in beside him immediately he snuggled up against me

"Sing for me?". I furrowed my eyebrows but he just smile.

Why would I sing when he can't hear, I took in a deep breath and sang my favorite song 'work song' by Hozier.

laying his head on my chest he played with my fingers while I sang. I think he listen to the vibration of my chest. When the song ended I heard small snoring and I realize he isn't playing with my hand. I wrap my hands more around him and close my eyes.

I woke up to someone poking my cheek. I groan and swat their hand away but snap my eyes open when I heard a giggle. I turned around and saw Casey smiling down at me.
