While eating, she said to her grandmother, “Grandma, you’re so old, but your teeth are still so good, and you eat so fast.” 
“The breakfast you prepared for Grandma is very soft and easy to digest, so of course she eats it quickly.” 
“Grandma is waiting for you outside, hurry up.” 
As the old lady spoke, she got up and walked out of the restaurant. 

Zhan Yue finished his breakfast as quickly as possible, leaving the dishes for the housekeeper to clean up. 
 
  
He picked up the cup of coffee he hadn’t drunk a drop from and drank it as he walked out of the restaurant. 
He finished his coffee in a minute, put the cup down, grabbed his car keys, and headed out. 
The old lady was sitting in the yard. 
Upon seeing him come out, the old man stood up and urged, “Hurry, hurry, Beibei will wake up soon.” 
As Zhan Yue went to get the car, he laughed and said, “Grandma, my breakfast hasn’t even been digested yet. You used to teach us to sit for ten minutes or so after eating before doing anything else.” 
“You’ll be sitting while you drive, so it won’t affect your digestion.” 
Zhan Yue: “…” 
After having great-grandchildren, the grandmother focused on her greatgrandchildren. 
A few minutes later, Zhan Yue drove the old lady out. 
His home wasn’t far from Zachary’s home; it was only a ten-minute drive. 
When they arrived at the elder brother’s house, his brother and sister-in-law had already gone to work. 
The room was still quiet. 
He parked the car, and the housekeeper came over and opened the car door for the old lady. 
“Is Beibei awake?” 

The old lady asked with concern. 
The butler replied, “The young lady is still sleeping. Madam, there’s no need to rush. Please take your time.” 
She helped the old lady out of the car. 
The old lady was relieved to hear that her great-granddaughter had not yet woken up. 
She laughed, “I was worried that Beibei wouldn’t see me when she woke up, so I kept urging Lao Ba to bring me back. Lao Ba even complained about me.” 
Zhan Yue said, “That’s right. Grandma only has eyes for your great-grandchildren now. We grandchildren have become an eyesore and have to step aside.” 
He and the housekeeper tried to help the old lady into the house, but she didn’t need their help. 
He followed behind his grandmother, walking slowly. 
“I don’t even have time to get a drink of water. Beibei hasn’t woken up yet. I’ll just have a drink of water here with my older brother.” 
The old lady did not respond. 
“Ah Yin and Tong Tong have both gone out?” 
The butler replied, “Young Master went straight back to the company after dropping Bao Shao off at school this morning. Young Madam didn’t leave until almost eight o’clock.” 
The old lady nodded. 
After entering the house, she did not sit down but went straight upstairs. 
Beibei usually sleeps with her parents. The old lady has a strong sense of boundaries. Even though it is her own grandson whom she raised herself, she will never step into her grandson’s room without his permission after he gets married. 
She went upstairs and stood at the door. 
The door was ajar. 

Serenity worried that if her daughter woke up and cried, no one would be able to hear her. 
Moreover, the little one is too small to open the door by himself. 
Before she left, she left the door slightly ajar so that Beibei could open it and go downstairs by herself after waking up.
