Zeng Xiaoya’s eyes widened in amazement. “Zhan Yue, you’re a real gem! Digging deeper always reveals surprises. You can make such beautiful pastries! They look so appetizing, they must taste delicious!” 

Zhan Yue handed her disposable gloves, then put them on himself. He picked up a petal-shaped pastry and offered it to Zeng Xiaoya. “Try it 

and see if you like it.” Zeng Xiaoya took it, took a bite, and after savoring it, nodded. “Delicious! The sweetness is just right, not as sweet as the ones you buy outside. It also has a subtle floral fragrance.” 

“Delicious, really delicious!” 

Zhan Yue was relieved; he was glad she liked it. 

Zeng Xiaoya ate several more pastries, and Zhan Yue poured her a glass of warm water. 

“Zhan Yue, you could open a pastry shop! Your pastries are so beautiful and delicious, they could beat many pastry chefs.” 

“Opening a pastry shop doesn’t make much money. It’s just a hobby. I make pastries in my spare time, some for myself, and if I have extra, I’ll give some to relatives and friends. If you like them, take a couple of boxes home tonight for your second uncle and aunt to try.” 

“I made quite a few kinds, including children’s. When the little ones wake up later, I’ll give them some.” 

At home, they have a habit of afternoon tea. Sometimes the pastries are made by the family pastry chef, and sometimes they make them themselves. 

“They only know how to make dumplings and wontons, nothing like what you’ve done. Grandma Zhan is truly amazing, raising you all to be so elegant and capable in the kitchen. No wonder so many girls want to marry into the York Family.” 

They might not be after the young master’s good looks, but rather his excellence— he’s truly outstanding. He can earn money to support the family, cook all kinds of delicious food, help with housework and childcare, and isn’t a hands-off parent. 

Zeng Xiaoya thought to herself, the more she learned about Zhan Yue and the York Family, the more she wanted to marry into the family herself.
