I blinked rapidly trying to stay conscious so that I could get away. They were still fighting so I decided it was now or never. I got up and instantly felt dizzy as I swayed. I grabbed onto the tree steadying myself.

That's when I noticed it was quiet. I turned my head and saw that the wolf that threw me across was now laying on the floor dead with a pool of blood around him. Then I saw the other wolf was staring directly at me.

I tried to take a step back but I felt a lot of pain on my ankle as I stepped on it do I tumbled down.

I felt myself lose all the energy that was left in me as soon as I hit the ground. I was starting to lose consciousness but before I did, oh dear lord how hard did I hit my head, because I swear I saw the wolf turn into a naked Arron who was walking towards me with a worried look. That's all I saw, or think I saw, as my vision went black.

Daphne's POV

I woke up with a pounding headache and blurry eyesight. I blinked rapidly so I didn't see blurry. After my vision cleared, I looked around and saw that I wasn't in my room or bed.

The room was the colors grey, blue, and white. Yep definitely not my room. I looked down at myself and saw that my upper half of my body, where my rib cage is, was bandaged. As well as my ankle.

I tried to get up but instantly felt pain on my ribs. What happened to me? I tried again and was finally successful to stand up. I saw some crutches by the bed so I grabbed them and positioned them.

I took a step but the room started spinning. I closed my eyes and steadied myself. Once I was sure the room stopped spinning, I took another step making sure the room didn't spin again. It didn't.

I walked and reaches the door and opened it. I stepped out and there was a long corridor that led to some stairs. This place looked really familiar but I couldn't quite put my finger on it. I walked to the stairs and sat down on a stair.

I put the crutches beside be and I started butt scooting down the steps. I was about half way down when someone yell my name. I looked up from my butt scooting and saw...

"Sydney?" I ask unsurely.

"Hey what the heck do you think your doing? You should be in bed!" She tells me.

"Well I was, it's just that I didn't know where I was so I went to instigate," I explain.

"Well you should have called or something and not try to come down the stairs," she scolds me.

Well how could I if I didn't even know you were here?

"Umm why are you smelling me?" I ask him awkwardly.

Ben and Luke just laughed while Arron said, "I'm not smelling you, I'm inhaling you to calm me down."

What's the difference? And inhaling me? Is he high? Sensing my discomfort, although it wasn't that much because I actually liked being in his arms- wait what? Ugh.

Sydney said, "Okay lover boy, I'm taking her over to the kitchen to eat something."

When she said lover boy it made me blush. Why? I don't know. She grabbed my hand and started pulling me but was stopped by Arron's hand.

"Actually she is going back upstairs and I'll bring up food for her," he tells Sydney.

I don't know why but that made my face do even redder. But, what he did next made my face even redder if that's possible. He picked me up bridal style which made me squeak.
