As she comes closer tp the bed, I spring up and grasp her by the throat. Her eyes widen and she claws at me to let her go but, I hold on tight. She keeps struggling and choking for air but I only tighten my hold. When her body goes limp and her eyes roll to the back of her head is when I let go. I know that she is just passed out and not dead as I feel for her pulse.

By now the room is spinning faster so I grab the bag of blood that she brought and downed it. I instantly felt that I had more energy but it seemed it wasn't going to last long. I was just hoping that it will be enough to go and get help.

I run out the room only to see an unfamiliar hallway. Where am I? I walk further into the hall and see that it is long. I go deeper into the hall to find weird paintings on the walls. I look around and see there's many differnet kinds. Some have geometric shapes, some pictures of non-existant lands, and some with actual people. The last painting at the end of the hall made me stop in my tracks. It was a picture of a beautiful woman that I recognized.

My mother.

She was in a beautiful golf ball gown and crown, fit for a queen. She had little makeup on and was smiling big. There was a small gold label at the bottom of the painting. Queen Yvette Campbell. I looked into her eyes. It's as if they were peering into my soul, speaking to me. She looked as she was trying to convey her love. It's most likely that its just my weakness that is making me hallucinate though. Right?

I pressed my hand against the painting and heard a latch unlock. The painting opened and I backed away. Inside revealed a small lit room. My curiosity getting the best of me, I went inside. It seemed like a volt room. The only things in here were a light that was hanging from the ceiling, a metal volt, and a note stuck to it.

I heard footspes coming this way so I quickly grabbed the note and got out of the room. I closed that painting door thing and went into the shadows of the hallway. I waked closer to the end of the hallway and saw another hallway. In the middle seemed to be a man and so I decided to follow him hoping that he would lead me to an exit or atleast to a part of the house that I know.

He went into a door and I waited outside by the door more than sure that the door led no where. He came out minutes after carrying a box and walked forward. Still trying to be unnoticed by him, I followed as quietly as I could.

He went down another hall, this time I recognized it and went on my way trying hard not to let anyone see me because I don't think I would have the strength to fight them. I reached the door and quickly went into the darkness of the night.

Arron's POV

"Come in," I said looking up from the papers.

I was surprised to see a paler than usual Zander come flying in.

"Daphne and Katherine need help!" he yelled taking in large gulps of breath.

Before I could respond, his eyes rolled to the back of his head and he fell forward. I felt a small spark of hope spring into my chest as I knew he was my last hope to finding Daphne. the only problem is that I need him awake. I needed to till he woke up. Wait with time that I didn't have.
