After a few seconds of silence, I finally say, "We have got to stop meeting like this."
Knowing that I was referring to the towel, he answered, "Oh but I enjoy meeting like this."
I feel my face heat up again. I'm seriously going to cook alive if my face keeps heating up like this! His eyes roam down my body again.
"Stop looking at me you perve!" I shout as I wrap the towel tighter around my body.
He just chuckles and turns to the wardrobe. He pulls out a thick shirt and a pair of boxers.
"Here, put these on," he said smugly, handing me the clothes.
"Thank you!" I squeak out and run into the bathroom, locking the door.
I think of my telling her the door knob rattle.
"Nice try flat butt!" I shout.
"Aww! Why'd you lock it?" I hear Arron wine.
"Really? You're asking that? You just tried opening it! That's why!" I shout, rolling my eyes.
I hear him try one last time as if it will magically open and then walks away. I quickly change into the clothes, fearing that he'll break down the door. I put on my shirt and was happy to see that since it's thick, you couldn't see that I wasn't wearing a bra. I put on the boxers and sighed. I felt naked yet surprisingly comfy in his clothes. I opened the door and slipped out. I saw Arron in his chair again with a tray of food on the bed. He smiled as he saw me.
"You look beautiful in those clothes," he said, looking sincere but, then he said, "But I look more beautiful-er in them."
I scoff, and retort, "That word doesn't even exist! And plus, are you seeing me right now? I look like a model!"
"It does in my dictionary honeyboo bear," he saids laughing.
I just roll my eyes and walk to the bed. I sit down and look at the tray. It's some kind of soup with a bread roll on the side. I sit down and grab the bowl of soup.
"Oh baby, please don't cry. I just want to tell you how sorry I am. I do feel bad and it hurts me to know that you're mad at me and it's my fault," he said, pulling me to his chest.
I felt a sob come out. The weight of everything was finally falling on me and all I could do was cry. And that's what I did, in Arron's arms while he whispered soothing things to me.
Zander's POV
I walk down the familiar hall ways of what I sadly call home. I walk down further until I finally find the mysterious hallway. I had just told Arron to help Kat and Daphne while I came here. I love Kat so much but I really need to do this. This might have the power so that we all stay alive. If this war gets way out of hand, it cannot only affect our species but the humans as well.
I finally find the picture and I take a deep breath. I reach out to the frame and it opens slowly with a slight creaking noise. Istep inside and go to the vault. I see that it has a keypad.
Hmm. I wonder what it is.
I press on 'Enter' and see that it has space for four numbers. I have no idea what they would be... I try to go with the simple 234 combination and it flashes red. Ugh! This is going to take forever! I don't have time for this. I try another set and it flashes red again. I try and try many different patterns but, nothing. I hit the key pad in frustration and it flashes green.
