"Why would you do that? You betrayed us." I spat out.
He scratched his head, and his expression turned appologetic.
"Yeah... About that, I'm so sorry. I really would never do that, but he promised me," He said, whispering the last part.
"What did he promise you," I asked more softly this time.
He looked down at the ground and could see tears forming into his eyes.
"He said that he would bring my beatiful Amelia back to me" he said sadly, his voice wavering.
I looked at him and felt pity for him. Amelia was most likely his beloved and he fell for the King's deceitfullness. I stepped forward and bring him into a hug. He may have betrayed us but if I had been in his shoes and lost Arron, I woud have probably done the same thing. I sigh as I realize that I have utterly fallen in love with Arron regardless of what he's done. Thanks to Kyle, I have realized that I am no longer mad at him. That I should spend as much time as I can as I don't know what might happen.
"Thank you," I whisper to Kyle.
His expression changes from one of sadness to one of confusion.
"For what?" he asks.
"For making me realize my stupidity and that time with my mate is precious," I say with a small smile.
He smiles big and hugs me tight.
"Does that mean I'm forgiven and can help?" he saids with hope in his voice.
I think for a minute. He really is a good guy. His judgement was just clouded with fkehope an the loss of his beloved.
I nod and he smiles brightly.
"Thank you! You won't regret it," he saids, fist pumpimg to the air.
"Okay lets start then!" I say.
Sydney, who had not spoken a word, nodded warrily but didn't object.
We got to work. I just hope Arron doesn't get too mad....
Daphne's POV (Still the same day as the last chapter)
I breathe rapidly as I just finished training. It feels so good to finally be able to do that. I grab a sweat towel, and leave the training section that Sydney had just showed me and Kyle. Huh, I didn't know they had one, but, then again, Zander has one so it would only make sense that Arron has one too. Speaking of Zander, I haven't seen him. I definitely will look for him later....
I wipe the sweat from my face and decide it's time to talk to Arron. I go out to the hall way and go downstairs. After walking a couple rooms, I finally reach his office. I knock on the door and wait for a reply.
"Not now, I'm busy," I hear him say from the other side of the door.
I roll my eyes and open the door. I see him with his nose stuck in the papers in his hand. He looks up and I can tell that he's both tired and stressed.
He looks confused and I explain further.
"Have something on my mind, I mean," I say, playing with my ring as I feel nervous.
How will he react? He surely won't like it.... Oh no.
He nod and says, "You know you can tell me anything."
I nod as well and say, "IforgaveKyleandhewantstohelp."
He raises his eyebrows and answers, "What? Was that even english? Say it slower."
My eyes flicker to the wall as I gather my courage and then look back at him.
"I..." I say as he nods expectantly.
"I forgave Kyle and he wants to help?" I say, coming out as a question instead.
I see his eyes darken but, obviously not for the same reason as before.
"What?! He's in the house?!" he yells.
