Just as I was in a dilemma, Charlie’s assistant called:

"Madam, didn’t you check in today?"

I: "Check what?"

He sighed: "No wonder."

Then he begged me: "Madam, please go and comfort the boss, he’s about to blow up the company."

I don’t know the way, so I had Wade drive.

But he said, "Madam, I haven’t passed the driving test for the fifth time."

I made him act as my human GPS.

I asked Wade which way to go when we came to an intersection.

He rolled down the window and nearly stuck his head out.

"Straight..."

"Straight, right? Okay."

I even sped up a bit.

Charlie’s assistant had been waiting by the roadside since afternoon.

"Sorry, there was a traffic jam."

He gave me a mysterious smile: "It’s fine, waiting for a little while is nothing."

Then he led the way, his steps limping.

"Assistant Zack, what happened to your leg?"

Wade answered first: "Probably numb..."
