Oliver paused as he reached for the seatbelt, his deep eyes locking onto Josefina's. Their eyes met, and with a nod, Oliver agreed with her. "I'll get someone to look into it," he said, pulling out his phone to send a message to the intel team, asking them to dig into Cole's business.

Once the message was sent, Oliver drove Josefina back to her college. "I just need to pop by the college today, tie up a few loose ends, and then I'm on break," Josefina mentioned casually.

Oliver's face lit up with pride. "Our Josie is really something, getting an early break and graduating ahead of schedule. Marrying someone like you is the best thing that ever happened to me."

Josefina gave him a playful eye-roll. "Oliver, you're getting smoother by the day."

"Just speaking from the heart, my Josie is amazing," he replied earnestly.

Josefina just shook her head with a smile. She pulled out her phone and started listening to the video messages from Logan. Oliver, distracted by the sounds, almost forgot he was driving. "Josie, you treat Logan better than you do me," he joked.

Without looking up, Josefina explained, "When we found Logan in the lab, he was barely hanging on. I was the first person he saw when he woke up, and he clung to me ever since. He calls me 'master' because he heard me call my mentor that. He’s scared of everyone else but me. So you see, if I’m not patient with him, it’d be heartbreaking."

"He’s only afraid of others? Not you?" Oliver mused, a fleeting thought crossing his mind but disappearing before he could grasp it.

He continued, "Whatever my wife says, I support." Josefina chuckled softly, continuing to reply to her messages.

When they reached the college, Josefina asked Oliver to park in their usual spot. "I'm heading in," she said, stepping out of the car.

"Josie!" Oliver called after her. She circled back to his side as Oliver rolled down the window, leaning in expectantly for a kiss. Seeing no one around, Josefina gave him a quick peck on the cheek and dashed off.

Meanwhile, Brandon was still in bed as Cole sat down for breakfast with his wife and kids. Bennett, who was up early, brought over a cup of tea. "Your Dragon Well tea, sir."

Makiko accepted it with a polite smile. "Thank you, Bennett. You can go about your tasks," Cole said graciously.

"Of course, Cole. Just give a shout if you need anything," Bennett replied before leaving.

Wilder, checking to see if anyone was listening, whispered, "Dad, are we going to live here now?"

Sandi chimed in, "It's not very convenient living here. There's no privacy. This morning, while I was walking around the mansion, it felt like Bennett was keeping tabs on me. It's so annoying."
