"Why not hit back?" Josefina replied with a smirk, raising an eyebrow.

"But boss, you're the Baldwin family's lady now. Can you really start a fight with your own people?" Albert asked, clearly puzzled by the situation.

Ever since Albert found out about Josefina's real identity, his level of surprise had only grown. First, she went head-to-head with her own brother, and then she completely outmaneuvered Dominic. Challenging the boss was like trying to knock down a brick wall.

"In battle, there are no family ties, and the same goes for business," Josefina stated confidently, sparking a fire of determination in Albert.

Josefina strolled over to check out the latest line of products, with Albert eagerly following behind, talking non-stop. "Boss, this batch of designs is incredible. You have to see it!" he said, fishing for praise.

Josefina followed him into the room, where she saw a machine cat about the size of a basketball lazily wandering over. It was absolutely charming with its playful antics and fluffy appearance.

Taking a closer look, Josefina noticed it was quite different from a regular cat. She crouched down as the little feline affectionately nuzzled her hand.

"Cute, right, boss? I named it Battle Cat," Albert beamed, clearly proud of his creation.

As they moved further inside, another team member pressed a button, showing off Battle Cat's abilities. It was versatile, entertaining, and even had a feature to help prevent kids from wandering off.

Albert added, "Boss, we're still refining it. Once it's perfect, it'll be the ultimate home protector."

Watching the demonstration, Josefina stayed composed. "Let's hold off on releasing it for now. Keep it under wraps and see what Wilder does next."

Although Albert didn't fully grasp her reasoning, he respected Josefina's decision. Everyone else did too, following her lead without question.

As Josefina and Albert exited the testing room, she whispered, "Keep a close eye on Wilder's moves."

"Don't worry, boss. I won't let you down. Just wait for my update."

Once inside, Josefina let out a sigh of relief and told Oliver about the encounter. "Oliver, your friend Cole has a knack for showing up out of nowhere. Do you think he knows I was meeting with Albert?"

Oliver squeezed her hand reassuringly, handing her a cup of hot chocolate. "Don't overthink it. There really is a jewelry store upstairs. He can check if he wants."

As for Cole, Oliver had discreetly had him followed, but nothing unusual had come up.

Josefina took the hot chocolate, inspecting it before handing it back to Oliver. "Stop buying me these sweet drinks. I'm gonna gain weight!" she teased, stretching her fingers playfully.

Oliver chuckled, giving her cheek a gentle pinch. "You're as light as a feather, Josie. No need to worry about your figure. You're perfect just the way you are."

Josefina gave him a playful glare. "You always know how to butter me up."

Ignoring Oliver's flattery, Josefina pulled out her phone. "The samples have been sent out. We should know by the end of the day who’s been in touch with Shay. We’ll track them down!"
