Alfie and Cash were grabbing a bite together when they both froze at the sight of Josefina.

"Uh, hey... Josie..." Cash stammered, wishing he could just vanish into thin air.

Alfie forced an awkward chuckle, "Hey Josie, what a coincidence, huh?"

Josefina's expression was stern as she spoke crisply, "Master, senior brother, quite the coincidence indeed. If I hadn’t come here for dinner, I wouldn't have known you two were in Westwood."

Alfie scrambled, "We just got here, really, just arrived. Haven’t had the chance to tell you yet."

Josefina raised an eyebrow, "Really now?"

Cash chimed in, "Really, totally true."

Just then, Alfie's friend, Mr. Penny, strolled in.

"Hey Walter," Mr. Penny boomed, "I'm treating today. Order whatever you like. You've been in Westwood for days, and we finally have time to grab a meal together. It's about time!"

Alfie groaned internally. A friend who always blew his cover!

He shot Mr. Penny a look, one that spoke volumes only long-time pals could decipher.

Josefina, well-versed in Alfie's non-verbal cues, picked up on his silent plea.

Josefina greeted, "Hello Mr. Penny, long time no see."

Mr. Penny beamed, "Josie, my, you’ve grown into a real beauty since I last saw you."

"Mr. Penny, I hope my master hasn’t been too much trouble while he's been in Westwood," Josefina replied sweetly.

"Not at all, I only bumped into Walter a few days ago. I've been trying to snag him for dinner since, and today was the lucky day," Mr. Penny chuckled.

Josefina teased with a playful grin, "Oh master, you've been in Westwood all this time and didn't think to let me know? I would have rolled out the red carpet for you."

Mr. Penny, sensing his presence was unneeded, tactfully made his exit.

In the private dining room.

The room was reserved by Mr. Penny, and the dishes were his picks, but he didn’t get to enjoy any of them.

The three of them sat quietly as Alfie poured Josefina a glass of water.

"Josie, here, have some water."

Cash ladled some soup into a bowl for her, "Little sister, have some soup, it's good for your skin."

Josefina shook her head, "I’m not thirsty, and I don’t want soup. Let’s talk about why you’re in Westwood and why you didn’t tell me. And where's Logan?"
