Oliver's demeanor remained steady, showing no hint of embarrassment, as if every word he spoke was gospel truth.

With Oliver laying it out like that, there was no way Hattie could ask him to leave.

"Oliver, come on in. We've got a feast ready in the kitchen. Join us for dinner," Hattie invited warmly.

"Thanks, Aunt Hattie, I'd be honored," Oliver replied, bowing his head slightly with a broad smile aimed at Josefina, whose cheeks turned rosy against her fair skin.

"Josie, let's eat," he urged.

Without a word, Josefina followed them inside.

Reid, Dorian, and Calix were taken aback to see Oliver again. What brought him here this time?

Calix quipped, "Looks like Oliver's got it bad for my sis, love at first sight, huh?"

Reid frowned, "I don't think Oliver's a good match. What if he's too rough for her? Domestic disputes are no joke."

Dorian scoffed, "You guys nailed it. Oliver's definitely not right for Josie. The guy's got some nerve, showing up for another free meal."

Calix added, "After dinner, we need to give Josie a heads-up. I don't want her getting played."

Reid mused, "Is it just me, or does Josie seem to actually like Oliver? Even the fiercest girl can fall for a persistent guy."

"How did Oliver get such a thick skin?" Dorian wondered, barely recognizing his old friend.

As everyone settled down for dinner, Garrett brought out a bottle of Lafite, and the housekeeper poured the wine.

Oliver raised his glass to Garrett in a toast.

After the toast, Oliver could feel the hostility from Dorian, Reid, and Calix.

Josefina breathed a sigh of relief; any more food and she'd have to hit the gym for an extra hour.

After dinner, Oliver sat down to play chess with Garrett.

Josefina joined her brothers in the living room for a chat.

"Dorian, Reid, Calix, here’s the situation. If we find this guy, we're one step closer to the truth," she briefed them, pulling out her phone. "I've sent you his picture. If you see him around, don't spook him. Just contact me, and I'll come over to check it out."

Dorian offered, "Josie, leave it to me. I'll investigate. You've been at this for a while; you deserve a break."

Reid added, "Sis, you've worked hard. Let us handle this."

Calix chimed in, "I'll have my contacts keep an eye out too."

With their united front, Josefina believed they'd catch the guy soon enough.

As the siblings discussed their plans, Garrett's voice echoed from the chess game...
