Finley waited patiently outside Livia's apartment building, eyes scanning for any sign of her. Finally, he saw her coming, bundled up against the chill, with her nanny by her side.

With a grin, he hurried over. "Livia, you're back! Bobby's been missing you like crazy. Could he stay with you for a couple of days?"

Livia didn't even turn around. Clutching her scarf tightly, she muttered weakly, "Get lost!"

Their child was gone, and with it, the last tie that bound her to Finley. She had no desire to see him or interact with him any longer.

Finley quickly stepped in front of her, blocking her path. "What's wrong? Are you hurt?"

Livia's eyes, red with anger, bore into him. "Can't you just leave me alone? Stop showing up in front of me!"

Turning to the nanny, Livia said, "Lisa, let's head upstairs."

"Of course," Lisa replied, carrying some bags and following Livia.

Finley stood there, watching her retreating figure, tempted to follow, but the door to the building slammed shut.

When did they install a security system? He had no choice but to leave.

He headed to Oliver's office, hoping for some answers.

Oliver looked at him, puzzled. "Finley, how would I know what's going on with Livia? If you want to know, you should ask her yourself."

"I did see her, but she wouldn't talk to me. She's blocked me, and now there's a security system, so I can't even get in to visit."

Oliver chuckled. "What, having second thoughts?"

Finley shifted uncomfortably, avoiding eye contact. "Second thoughts? No, I was just concerned about her, that's all."

"Maybe you should stop worrying about her. Your 'concern' probably feels more like harassment to Livia. Leave her alone."

Finley stood up, frustrated. "Oliver, are we still friends? Since when does caring for someone become harassment?"

"You're with Shay now, so why bother Livia? Isn't that just rubbing salt in the wound? Look at you, stirring up trouble."
