Joelle was at a loss for words.

“Haylee, why do you keep praising Josefina? Is that all you can talk about?” she snapped.

“Sunny, I’m just telling the truth. Josie really is amazing, and she helped me out today. I owe her a dinner when we get back to school,” Haylee responded.

Feeling frustrated, Joelle walked ahead, with Haylee quickly catching up.

“Sunny, why are you mad? Everything was fine just a moment ago, wasn’t it?”
