Shay's scream cut through the air as she dangled precariously out the window, "Help me!"

Josefina, standing firm by the window, had a tight grip on Shay's ankle and sneered, "What's the matter? Thought you could handle me?"

Shay, pale as a sheet, locked eyes with Josefina's smug expression, "What do you want, Josefina? Murder's a crime! You can't do this! There's a camera right there; if you kill me, you're not getting away with it. Even if Oliver gets involved, you're finished."

"Yeah, I know there's a camera, but it can't catch me! It'll only capture your lifeless body, looking like a dead dog, right?" Josefina smirked, her voice icy.

With her head pounding from hanging upside down, Shay was barely holding on. Desperate, she reached into her pocket and tossed something into the air.

A plume of pink smoke unfurled, swirling prettily against the sky.

"Josefina, if I go down, you're coming with me."

Josefina extended her arm just a bit more, making Shay's body swing perilously.

"Shay, answer two questions honestly, and maybe I'll let you off the hook."

"What do you want to know?" Shay, clinging to hope, asked quickly.

Josefina's lips curled into a sly grin, "Did you hurt my friend Livia? And what about that scam at the bar, was that your doing?"

Shay hesitated, and Josefina threatened, "Not talking? Fine, I'll just let go. I'm getting tired anyway."

Shay, biting her lip, struggled to speak, "Recordings can't be evidence."

"I didn't record anything. Whoever does, is a fool," Josefina declared confidently.

"It wasn't me."

Josefina pulled out a pocketknife and made a cut on Shay's leg.
