Chapter 643: They’ve Always Had Something Special
Levi was just bored and feeling a little shit–stirry. He hadn’t actually expected Franklin to respond.
But Franklin dad: What do you think I’d feel?]
Levi [. No idea]
Levi. (That’s literally why I’m asking, wat it?)
Harry was actually a little curious about this himself
The four of them did bring up Maggie every now and then in private, but they rarely asked Franklin directly how he felt about her these days. For the first few years, they all knew Franklin had nothing but contempt for her But looking back over the past couple of years, his attitude toward her had actually shifted
Julia was curious too
The others might not have picked up on it, but she knew. Franklin had genuinely started to care about Maggie for a while there. That seemed to cut off after Maggie saved his life, though Even on Julia ould will feel that Franklin was as attentive toward her as ever.
But the two of them – Franklin and Maggie was a shirt that rarely came up
Then Franklin replied [They’re really good together ]
Levi blinked Harry and Julia dad too
The message landed with this strange, quiet calm
So… he was actually rooting for them? For Maggie and Johnny?
No matter how badly things had gone between hum and Maggie, they really had made their peace. And now that Maggie had found her happiness, Franklin was genuinely wishing her well?
Harry came back to himself and smiled. Franklin’s answer didn’t really surprise him, honestly.
Julia snapped out of it and smiled too.
Only Levi was still kind of lost, firing back on instinct with a single word: [Huh?]
Franklin: [They’ve always had something special. Don’t you think so?]
Levi finally caught up: [Oh. Yeah, fair enough.]
That seemed to wrap things up, there wasn’t much left to say on the subject. Levi @‘d everyone else and asked if anyone was free for dinner that night.
Meanwhile.
Maggie was at the office working through some things when Johnny knocked and came in, grinning. “Got some good news for you.”
Maggie looked up from her screen. “What is it?”
Johnny smiled. The award ceremony, the Professor’s going to be there Barring anything unexpected, he’ll be presenting your award himself. “

Chapter 643: They’ve Always Had Something Special
Maggie froze for a second. “That confirmed?”
“Yep.”
Maggie broke into a grin and tilted her head at him. “Senior, dinner’s on me tonight?”
“I want somewhere nice.”
“Done.”

Alguém saberia dizer o que houve com o livro, sem atualização a tempos...
Nada de episódio novo?...
Does the book stop? When are we going to get a new chapter?...
Olá, A história parou no capítulo 288? O nome do livro me gerou mais expectativas, quando ela realmente vai desprezar os dois e brilhar???...
Everytime I read new updates I am hoping to see Maggie completely moving on with her life not always checking where Franklin is up to with Julia. I think everyone reading this story by now understand that Franklin doesn't care about Julia. So what is the point of always pointing out how indifferent Franklin is to Maggie and how attentive he is towards Julia....
What does Helen mean Maggie is still married? Married to whom? Franklin has made it clear that he doesn't consider her anything and is flaunting his relationship with Julia for anyone who has eyes to witness it.So Maggie should wait for the divorce to be finalized to date. Isn't that double standards. And Franklin is dragging the divorce deliberately since divorced or not he does what he wants without any consequences. Really women are emotionally oppressed even authors only know that point of view 😕...
I feel sad for Maggie and all married women who have to endure emotional abuse with no end in sight. By the look of it,Franklin doesn't want to divorce Maggie for whatever reason. Either the reason is good or bad, Maggie shouldn't be humiliated like this just because she loves him. And the grandmother should be helping her get a divorce not emotionally blackmailing her, if she really cared about her. Franklin is using Maggie's love for the grandmother to abuse her. Is really loving people wrong? Author this one-sided hurt is not right. Let Maggie move on with dignity. It shouldn't end up with Franklin professing his love for her and her accepting it....
