Jeremy probably hates me. I just made up with him and now I go and do this.
I sit on the coach and turn on the television, turning on some show on HGTV show and watching it in a haze. I am really tired but apparently I am not supposed to fall asleep alone. My parents are going to have to wake me up multiple times throughout the night to check up on me, which I am not looking forward to.
Justin and Jace walk through the door at the same time.
"We were just at the hospital to visit you, we must have just missed you." I naturally nod my head which brings upon a small throb.
"How's Jeremy?" I ask.
"They were wrapping his leg up when we left. Mom and Dad are hoping to be home by midnight."
I look at the time realizing it is already ten. On a regular day I would probably be in bed and on my phone by now.
Jace comes up to me and wraps me in a hug. I haven't seen him in about a week since he doesn't live here anymore.
"I missed you." I say not letting him go.
"You too sis." He says to me. Justin pulls me out of his arms and smashes me into his chest. When Jace gives him a look, Justin shrugs.
"What? My little sister almost died today." I roll my eyes at his over-exaggeration.
After Justin finally lets go I am able to sit back down on the couch. Justin goes upstairs and says he will wake me up in a little bit if I decide I want to sleep. First, I sit up and talk to Jace for awhile.
"So how are you?" I ask him. I don't think that he will answer, thinking he would turn the conversation back to me, but he surprises me.
"Good. I actually met someone."
"Really?" I ask him surprised.
He chuckles and raises his eyebrows at me. "Did you really think I would die alone?" He asks.
I roll my eyes. "Of course not, but I'm happy for you!"
He nods his head. "Thanks."
"So what is she like?" I pry.
"She's the social worker at the school district I work at, so I don't see her everyday. She was at my school one day when I introduced myself and we kinda hit it off."
"What's her name?"
"Yes, but not on the pack's land. We'll keep alert but as of now were not tracking them or anything."
I nod my head and then it gets silent again. I break it with a quiet squeak as Jake lifts me up, bridal style, like I don't weigh a thing.
"What are you doing?" I demand.
"Carrying you to your room. I didn't think you would want back pain in the morning." He says in an obvious way.
"Watch out for my brothers!"
"I am!" He tells me. Smiling at my panic. "Justin's playing some game on an X-box and Jace is talking on his phone."
"Well hurry up then!" I pretend to nag. "I haven't kissed you in two day's!" He quickens his pace after that.
Once in my room, he sets me down on the bed and then goes and shuts the door. He's back in a flash and on top of me.
I kiss him hard and fast. He hovers over me, rubbing his one hand down my side as the other supports him. I wrap both my hands in his hair, pulling it lightly at its ends. His tongue enters my mouth when I give him no resistance.
I'm getting dizzy from a lack of oxygen when Jake pulls away. As soon as his lips leave mine they meet my neck and he sucks on my collarbone. I moan as he reaches down and pulls my shirt over my head.
