He didn't say anything, just walked over to my side of the bed and pulled me up. I took the sheet with me, wrapping it around me and walking towards the closet.

"That sheet is see through, you know." Jake tells me as I turn to shut the door. I immediately blush and glare at him before locking the door and going to change.

I dress in a pair of skinny jeans and a coral and navy blue striped blouse. After wearing pajamas, practically, for a week, I wanted to wear something that didn't make me look like crap.

I also went to the bathroom and did my hair, straightening out all of the bumps and even applying a little make up.

Jake wasn't in the room when I was done so I went downstairs looking for him. I was surprised when I saw he wasn't in the kitchen.

I'm in Tyler's officeI hear him in my head.

I laugh and walk towards the hallway that I roughly remember him telling me where the office was.

I knocked and then opened the door, walking inside to the couch on the side of the room. Jake watched me go with a happy look on his face.

You're so beautiful. He "think-tells" me.

I smile at him before he turns and goes back to the papers he was shuffling through.

Why are you working in Tyler's office?

I think, trying to mind link him. When he doesn't respond and continues without disruption I figure I didn't do it right.

"How do you talk to me in my head?" I ask him after trying it again and failing. Setting his pen down he folds his hands under his chin.

"You just say it in your head while imagining talking to me."

I do that, imaging me saying the words to his face and then watch his reaction. It doesn't change though.

"I can't do it." I pout. I mean I'm pretty sure I'm doing it right.

After breakfast Jake offers to clean up so I can go get changed. I wear a pair of hiking boots and my favorite pair of denim shorts. Then I grab an old tee of mine, not caring how I'd look when trekking through the forest.

When downstairs, Jake lead me out the back door and down the hill I last saw the night I was marked. He pointed out a thin path that we would take and dragged me along through the surprisingly welcome forest. I wondered what he had to show me in the forests, but soon found out that it wasn't what was in it, but what was through it.

The clearing we entered first reminded me of a prairie, big and open, with little trees and long grasses. This clearing however, was the home of many buildings and houses, scattered randomly. There were few people wandering about, but most were out of sight, most likely in their homes.

We approached a red barn, that near the perimeter of the clearing.

"This is where we train. I don't know if you remember where the gym in the pack house was, but this barn is like the ultimate gym. It has every apparatus you could imagine and more. I usually make the trip out here to work out, except if its the winter of if I'm too lazy to make a trip." He gives me a smile towards that last part in which I return. Then he leads me more towards the center, pointing out a smaller building, blending in with the houses.

"That's our safe house. It's not used much but don't judge it by it's side. If needed that thing could shelter the whole pack and them some."

He speaks very casually and I like it. Every once in a while he will tell me a story based on what he's showing me, and I enjoy it even more. I love learning about his history, but more importantly, him. I adore him and I'm glad I can learn more and more about him everyday for the rest of my life.
