"Are you happy now?" I ask her cautiously, afraid to bring up the rocky subject.

"Yes-I am." She pauses before she adds; "I came to the realization that I found my mate, which is who I'm meant to be with, even if I had to sacrifice a great guy in a process, no offense to your brother." I shake my head and laugh it off telling her not to worry. Jace was mature and held himself together fine. I'm sure he'd get over it soon.

Jake and Tyler returned to the room about seven at night. They had ordered Chinese for us that was dropped of an hour earlier. We were laying next to the empty boxes and dirty napkins, crying over the sob story romance movie we were watching when they walked in.

They both embraced us, not even surprised we were crying. Jake sniffed in the scent of my hair as Tyler wrapped Anna in his arms, resting his head on top of her head. There height difference was so huge it was cute.

It surprised me when Tyler was the first one to speak up, and not to Anna, but to me.

"We have matters to discuss, Jen." Tyler says to me over Anna. I nod as Jake pulls me even harder against him. Apparently he wasn't handling the whole mate in danger thing.

"Maybe you should fill in the Luna first." Jake suggests, keeping me flush against him. Tyler growls at the suggest given to him from a lower rank but does so anyway.

Anna's face falls more and more as Tyler goes on. It breaks my heart to know she was finally happy only to be told annoying news.

"So do you think they're going to tip your parents off that you're not actually with Riley?" Anna asks after she's informed.

"What ever they meant, we can't forget the fact that the letter made it to where it did. How many were on guard that night?" He asks Jake.

"The guys were on their normal shifts, but even without extra protection, no one should have made it though."

They exchange their opinions on what should and should not have happened and I kind of tune them out, but pay attention again when my names brought up by Tyler.

"Maybe Jen should return home, that way her parents now where she is and we can still keep tabs on her."

Jake growls, loudly might I add, already shaking his head. "Absolutely not. I'm not moving her anywhere unsafer than here."

"If her parents are continued to be told the lie that you're already telling them, they will eventually learn the truth, if not from us from someone."

I was thinking very hard in my head. Tyler had too right of a point. The almost two and a half weeks were already pushing it for a vacation, and they keep on texting me asking when I'll return. Riley had actually gotten back four days ago, and I was amazed my mother hadn't ran into her mother at the grocery store or something. I had to think of an excuse, and fast.

"The university of Florida." I say before I can back out.

"Oh?"

"Long story but I meet a few girls on the team and they told me about a soccer camp they had going on, they said since I was from out of town and interested in their program I'd get in for free."

"Since when have you been interested in the University of Florida?" She asks surprised. "Why didn't ask us earlier?"

"Well it doesn't start for another week." I bite my lip praying she won't demand me to come home.

"Oh so you found a place to stay until then? Why didn't you just come home with Riley's family and go out later for the camp?" She asks, and I pray that her normal voice means she doesn't see through my lie.

"Yeah I'll be staying in the dorms! I didn't come home because I was afraid you wouldn't let me leave again. Plus since I got a free place to stay I figured the drive back home then to return here would be to costly. But I'll actually be bonding with part of the real team while I'm here!" I try to sound excited when really I'm so nervous she'll call me out.
