Boarding the plane, I sat down at the window seat and looked out through it. Before my parents and I could part ways, we cried, we laughed, my cheeks were pinched hard numerous times before I could finally tear myself from them to board the plane. The plane took a couple of minutes before it actually took off, and I dozed off sometime when it was in the air. I was awakened for snacks and as soon as I ate, I was back to sleep. I had gotten up when we arrived and I felt drained due to oversleeping. Getting up, I made my way off the plane and into the airport to meet my aunt who I would be staying with.

She was my mom's sister and she was subtly speaking to your parents cool and hip for her age. Aunty Angela looked young for her age. Her boobs were larger than mine and she was always dressed in expensive clothing due to marrying a rich man named Edwardo. Hugging her, she kissed me on the cheek before she began to talk.

"I see my little Chris-Ann has grown into a fine woman. Your eighteen and you are in Paris, the city of love. You can do whatever you want, remember I am the cool aunt. Flashing me a mischievous smile, I laugh it off before we walk outside the airport and into her car. Driving to her home, I was in awe. It was a mini-mansion, that was painted in white, the staircase that led to the door was fancy and the grass was neatly cut, green as green can get and well kept.

Stepping inside, I was taken aback by the fanciness of the house. The wood floor was well polished and the walls were painted in white like the walls outside but the only difference was it had fancy patterns. "I am going to take you to your temporary room, where you can freshen up and take a nap."

"Temporary?" I asked confused.

"Don't worry about it," came her vague reply. Nodding my head, I followed her upstairs to my temporary room where I rest my bags on the bed. Going back downstairs, I went into the kitchen where I got something to eat then made my way back downstairs to my room. Opening my carry-on bag, I saw the box that Cassie had given me before I left. The one where I placed in there when I had gotten in the car. Opening it, I almost lost it when I saw it was a picture of me and Jay, the one that Cassie had taken the day of my going away dinner.

I had finished fixing up myself after I had finished crying and went downstairs into the backyard when Jay came up to me and so did Cassie who wanted a picture of us. In the picture, he was kissing me on the cheek, and I could see the love shining in our eyes. Smiling at it, I curled up in bed with it in my hands.
