Ever since I was a little kid I had a fascination with wolves, even before I knew I was one I loved them. I could never understand why Twilight existed for it was a terrible movie and Bella picked the wrong guy, but then again he did have a mate bond with her daughter so I cannot be too mad at the outcome of the series, and believe me, it was a cringe from start to finish.

Any whore.

I'm a mixed breed. I'm half vampire and wolf. I love my wolf side, of course I liked my vampire side too but some days the vampire in me is very irrational and isn't too fond of my wolf. Neither the less, it gave me the best of both worlds. I live close to the wood, so when I get a chance to get my mom off my ass, I always go for a run letting my wolf out. It makes me feel free and calms my spirit.

My wolf, Roman, her fur was golden brown which shimmered in the sun. I had a black tail and a black strip going across my left eye. She is always calm and loving. I love her to death do us part. I find it weird that when I'm in my regular body, I can't be around the sun as much, but with my wolf, it's nothing for her.

My mother never approved me of having my wolf side. I wasn't in a pack, neither a clan. I was a lone wolf and vampire. It didn't matter to me. I liked being alone anyways. The vampires here were rarely around and the wolves here didn't hesitate to give me the time and day so it was easier for me to stay to myself.

I don't understand if she had me with a wolf, why'd she didn't like it. My dad had a mate, but loved mom. Not like he loved his mate. When he found his mate he left my mom but always came around for me. My mom hated him after he left. Come to think of it he had children with his mate older than me... so I wonder why he messed around with my mom. These are questions that will go unanswered throughout my life. I liked my dad's family. He had 3 sons my age and 2 younger daughters. They were always kind to me and treated me like their own sister even if we barely saw each other.

"Hey Kiki." My dad smiles hugging me as I open the door to my house. I smiled hugging him back, sighing. I missed him.

"Can you at least give me a 'hey' ?" he ask shaking my shoulders "hello." I say softly with a small laugh.

"Well, what did you want to do today?" He ask. I took a deep breath shrugging as we walked to his car. I got in and sat down.

"Let's go to the cafe." I tell him as he nods.

My dad didn't live relatively close to me, he lived in another state, it was just a couple hours away. I always told him he didn't have to see me all the time but he told me that I was as important as his other kids, which obviously I knew. We got in the cafe and ordered some donuts along with some tea. I loved donuts, I loved anything with sugar to be honest. I could eat them all day without regret.

"So what's going on in that pretty head of yours?" he ask as I smile realizing I've been spaced out for quite a while.

"I don't want to live here anymore." I say softly. I know he heard me because of his wolf hearing. I don't know where that came from, but maybe it was my wolf finally giving me the balls I needed.

"What do you mean?" he asks, furrowing his eyebrows.

"I'll take it to the car." he took both bags and went down stairs. He stopped and looked back up. "Candice will be happy that you decided to come."

I smile as he goes to the car. Candice, his mate was a kind woman. She was anything but mean. It was like if you did something bad, she couldn't find a way to punish you or be mad at you. I go to the kitchen to write a note to my mother. I figured she wouldn't go looking for me, but at least she'll finally figure out that she had a daughter for the past two months. I walk out the house locking it and leaving the key under the doormat. She likes it under the doormat. "Ready?" My dad asks as I nod smiling happily.

"I'm more than ready." I tell him as he starts driving. Halfway through the drive I head off to sleep because my father was a boring person to take a road trip with.

"Wake up sweetie." My dad shakes me softly. I open my eyes slightly looking up at him. I glance at my watch sighing. It wasn't too late in the day.

"We're here?" I said looking around.

"Yeah, welcome to your new home." my dad said gesturing to the house. It wasn't small but it wasn't a mansion. I sigh smiling. It seems like I have a new Chapter in my life beginning now.
