My Very Own Alpha novel Chapter 14

I wake up early in the morning about possibly five, to make sure nobody comes and disturb me. I threw on a red long sleeve with black jeans with a leather jacket and my black ankle boots. I quickly ran down the stairs and out the door. The house was quiet which meant nobody was up and I was thankful for that.

I walk down the street an into town. They had a little cafe that ran 24/7 and I wanted to go in and drink as much coffee as I can handle.

"Well if it isn't miss little run away." I turn to my mother wide eyes.

She looked paler than usual, which isn't bad, it's actually a good thing. Her blond hair was longer since the last time I saw her and her golden yellow eyes shone. She was wearing a green long sleeve shirt with with baggy black jean and some sneakers.

"I didn't run away." I whisper as she smirks.

"I know a runaway when I see one." she sang leaning back on the wall.

She guested us both to a table and we both sit in silent peace. We order our coffee and sit for what seems like forever.

"So, how they treating you?" she ask finishing her coffee. "Good."

"better than me?" she ask smiling. I nod as she laughs.

"I could tell. Your eyes shine brighter around your dad than around me." she mutters bitterly. "yeah, that's how things are." I tell her as she nods.

"I understand I kept you away from these things, but I'm glad you found your nature. I should've sent you here a long time. It's time for my little butterfly, to fly." she said tearing up a little and I laugh almost bitterly. She is so full of shit.

"Isn't it 'it's time for my caterpillar to turn into a butterfly." I give her a look as she rolls her eyes. "whatever. You say sweets. Keep in contact. It's been about two months and I haven't heard a word." she kisses my cheek hugging me.

"Take care of yourself." I tell her softly and she nods leaving. I let out a breath. She looks better than before, I'm glad she's doing good without me in her way.

"Hey little vampire." Drew sits across from me with a mug in his hand. "god damnit. How'd you find me?" I whisper angrily as he laughs.

"Oh please. I was following your mom. She sexy as fuck." he exclaims winking at me. I gag as he says that.

"Leave me alone." I tell him sipping my drink.

"No can do. The whole house is looking for you. Royal told me to find you. Then I saw your mom." he smirked making me frown.

"please stop thinking about my mom. That's gross." I get up from the table as he grabs my arm slugging his arm over my shoulder.

"Royal will be here any minute to pick you up princess." "And I actually thought I liked you." I groan making him laugh

"oh no, you do like me. I'm just doing the duties of the Alpha." "You're a vampire, why are you listening to an Alpha?"

He shrugs smiling. "he my best friend, plus I live on his land. I can't disobey Mr. King." "wait, he's not alpha yet, right?" I ask poking his back.

"Wait, no actually he isn't so it's just I'm his friend and he threaten my family jewels." I laugh taking his arm off me.

"Well" I trialed off then ran.

"Oh come on!! It's too early or this shit Kiki."

I heard his thumping footsteps as I turn the corner and right into Jeff. "Hey babe, where Mr. dummy?" he ask smirking.

"You gotta promise that you'll wear it though." I tell them.

"I'm not promising anything." Leah says as I shrug looking at the others.

They nod which makes me smile. I stick out my pinky as the all, except Leah wrap around saying they promise.

"okay well I'm glad you guys would love to wear what I bought." I pull out a steeds passing it to all of them smiling.

"Like hell I'm wearing this." Levi exclaims.

"hmm, this is actually cute." Drew said trying it on. "i ain't doing it." Liam says looking at me crazily.

"Will you be coming to school?" Royal ask as I sigh nodding. "Yeah, I guess I have too."

"Well, I guess you guys could wear this." Landon says standing up leaving, my jaw drops because he still had the dress in his hands, but he doesn't go to our school, so who is he really wearing it for?

"Hey, maybe we could wear these." Leah mutters shrugging at me and heading upstairs. "Damn! Bloody hell I got a sexy ass." Drew exclaims twirling in the skirt.

"Yay!! Thanks guys." I smile. Tomorrow will be extremely fun.

"if we have to wear these dresses than you and Layla has to wear guy clothing." Jeff points at us both.

"It's whatever. At least I don't have to wear a dress." She retorts as Drew snickers.~~
