"We gotta get out of here."

"Told yah." Drew replied laughing, eating the food that was there. I start to pound on the door but nobody payed attention. I know that even Drew was trying his hardest to resist the smell, I doubt he fully mated with Maxi yet but if he did it's understandable how he's resisting. "Alright, Nicki. You gotta calm down." Drew said touching my shoulder and he jumps back. "God damnit. Don't touch me." I growl swiping away at him before trying to open the door.

Where he touched made it cold and back to hot.

"it's better you in here then out there. They'll be able to smell your arousal." he explains. "Damn. How you know so much?" I ask him as he smiles shrugging.

"Ever since I found out that Maxi was my mate, I had to learn everything about wolves." he said sheepishly.

"Awwwwwww, you are so cute." I gush making him frown. I close my eyes tightly as another wave hits me as he rubs my back, attempting to ease the pain.

"I'm not cute."

"Yes you are. Look at the baby." I cooed through gritted teeth making him roll his eyes but he smiles.

"Here." he have me some food which I took gratefully.

"I hope the Moon Goddess could get us out this mess." I mumble as I stuff my face, the sensation came and go and it was honestly hard, I don't think I could've gotten through these first couple waves without Drew.

"She will. She has plans that over rules Sun goddess plans."

Royal POV

We surround the building, more like the castle. Maxi seem to be shaking with anger more than I was.

"Ready?" Layla ask.

"Ready." I shout and we all shifted and burst through the door.

The hallway was white and bright as the pack went through door after door. There were screams and cries but nobody cared. Their Luna was taken away and nobody was going to show mercy.

I sniff the air and widen my eyes. Freckles in heat. Shit.

Nicki POV

I sit in front of one of the walls doing nothing. Absolutely nothing. Drew and I sat back to back not saying nothing. It's been 10 hours since they took me away from my mate. Its been 5 hours since i got into heat. Every few minutes I'd get pain in my lower abdomen. It would stay for a couple of seconds then stop. Drew would mumble nonsense when it happened. He said that if I don't put attention into the pain it'll go by quicker.

"I wonder if we're connected." Drew says out of the blue. "What do you mean?"

"It's like, I could feel your pain while you're in heat. It's not like a sexual connection, but like we brother or sister." I shrug trying to understand him.

"Maybe. I believe this is the Moon Goddess doings, she sees us as brother and sister but the Sun sees us as lovers."

"Hmmm. Sun is a hot head. Moon knows how to keep her cool. That is how she came up with the mate thing. Possessive and protective. It's all comes into one."

"You are so weird, I don't understand where you got that from, from what I said." I say as pain hits making me groan.

"You feel hot all over." he ask as I nod.

"he's here. He's close. I could feel it." I say slouching over feeling my body give up and Drew comes to my side.

"Don't worry. You'll get the dick soon." he smirked as I punch him making him growl. Pounding comes to the door.

"Garlic." Drew shot up so quick it made me laugh.

"Where's the garlic? Bruh!!" he frowned and moved his eyes to the door and started smiling. "Maxi! If I said I missed you that would be an understatement. Being stuck with Nicki makes you realize, that I'm really dead." he smirks and Maxi jumped into his arms.

"Um, Kiki, why don't you have on pants?" Layla ask and Royal eyes widen to my exposed legs. He pulls me into his body as if to shield it,but I think he just wanted to touch me.

"Dumbass Drew shifted. Had to give him pants." I told her as Maxi laughs.

"Finally." Royal yanked him by the ear. " If you ever see my mate half naked I'll kill you."

"Oh please. It's been a horror film ever since she took it off." he said gagging. I punch his shin as he grunts.

"When you shifted it was horror."

"Okay you two. Y'all been in here for the last 10 hours. You should've argued then" Layla says laughing.

"We could've, but Drew was being a psycho for most of it." I tell her and he pouts.

"Was not!"

"Yeah, says the one who was in the corner rocking back and forth for almost three hours or so." I tell him making him smile sheepishly.

"We were trapped for so long." he said trying to explain but I just laugh. "Whatever, let's just go home."

"Home? We're on vacation."
