Nicki POV

I open my eyes up from my slumber smiling. I haven't slept that good in days. my eyes widen as I take in Royal.

"Get away." I push him off the bed as he scramble to him feet glaring at me. "Why'd you do that?"

"Why are you in bed?"

"Why are you in my room?" He smirked.

"Then I'm going home." I hop out of bed but Royal grabs my arm sighing. "Are you really that mad at me?" he ask softly.

I nod. "Yes, its as if your hiding something from me, and I don't like it one bit." "I'm not going to fight with you."

"Well we might as well stop talking." I grumble.

"No, come on, were going to the cells." He says and I gasp.

"Royal I will have your head if you put me in one of those things." I shout at him.

"Calm down." He says rolling his eyes. I start thrashing around so that he could let go of my arm, but no avail.

"LET ME GO RIGHT NOW." I scream.

He sighs letting go. and let out a breath and smile to myself.

"I guess its the hard way." He says smirking at me. Before I could run, I was on his shoulders and he was running to the basement.

"I hate you!! " I exclaim. Royal just laughs as we got downstairs where I see Drew teasing one of the prisoners.

"Drew, cut that shit out." Royal demands.

Drew turns to glare at Royal. I smirk at him when he sees me and flicks me off. "Why are y'all down here?"

"I wanna know the same thing." I mumble. Royal push me towards one of the cell with a boy, but his back is too us. " You asked for answers, he's your person."

The guy turns around and frowns at me. "Jeff"

"I can't believe you."

I pull Jeff's arm slamming him into the bars. He groans and I let go of his arm. I turn to Royal and slaps the side his head.

"Both of you are idiots!!" I shout and Royal look taken back. "What? I didn't do anything."

"You sure as hell did. I can remember." I tell him and turn my attention to Jeff. "Glad you remember." I heard Drew call.

"Why'd you do it? For the pass few weeks I couldn't remember shit, I see you and everything comes rushing back." I tell him grabbing his shoulders so he's closer to me.

"If I didn't they would have killed my mate." He whispers. I could see that he was in pain emotionally.

"It's alright. I'm not really the one to hold grudges." I reply smiling. "What are you two talking bout?" Royal comes closer glaring at Jeff.

One of the warriors came in and took Bella. Jeff started growling trying to get out the cage and to his mate.

"Hold up." I exclaim and the warrior stops. "Where the fuck are you taking her? You better be taking her to the spa or something."

"No Luna." the warrior says making me frown. " She's getting stoned." "LET HER GO!!!!" Jeff howls painfully.

"What kind of stupid rule is that?" I ask.

Drew narrowed his eyes at me. "Did you even read the werewolf handbook we were suppose to read?"

"We were suppose to read that?" I scratch my head trying to remember what I did with that. "I think I used that as confetti."

"Take her away." Royal demands emotionlessly.

"What? No!!" I Grab the warriors arm and yank Bella out of his grip. " You aren't going anyplace with her."

"Freckles, its the rules."

"Rules are for nerds." I reply hugging Bella. " She's my new best friend and if you stone her, you stone me."

"You're ridiculous." Royal mutters reaching for me but I slip out of his reach. I smile at him as the boys go up the stairs and out the basement.

"Thank you." Bella breathes "That's what friends are for, right?" "I'm sorry Nicki." Jeff says.

I wave my hand in the air dismissing it. "You're fine. They're just being stupid, the wouldn't have done the same but it's life."
