I tilt my head to the left as I peak around the corner to see my mom and dad talking in hush voices. So hushed, that I can't see their mouths moving. Wait, they're probably talking through their mind link. Damn.

"Deja." My mom calls.

"Yaas." I call back in a whisper.

"I know you're right there, you aren't a ninja!" She exclaims.

"Am so." I exclaim back.

"Nah-uh." she replies.

"Stop, please." My father mumbles.

"We got some news." my mum says happily.

"Where's Dominic?" I ask.

"He's holding a meeting." My father explains.

"Wassup." I sit down as they watch me do so.

"You're gonna be a big sister." My mum screams happily.

Dad smiles widely at her then at me. My jaw drops as I scrunch up my face. My mom smile drops as she watches me.

"Oh no. She doesn't want to be a big sister." my mum says.

"No, not that. Its the fact that you two........" I trial off frowning and sticking my tongue out.

"Oh hush." My dad mumbles smirking.

"Oh." my mom let's out a breath. "I thought you were gonna hate me."

"Mom, please. A new addition to the family, is what we need." I smile.

"I'm glad you say that." my mom chirps. She stands up and goes into the kitchen and brings out a pie. I glance at my father as he watches me and shrugs. "I made a pie. its cherry, I know you despise apples."

"with a passion." I add.

My mom laughs. "yes, with a passion."

"I think there's more to this baby business ." I mumble.

My mom danced around the kitchen as I sat down at the island. My dad sat next to I bumping shoulders with I. I glanced at my father sticking my tongue at him rolling my eyes.

"Calm down. Your mom is happy. Plus, she loves too cook." My father smirked at my mum and she just smiled back happily.

My mom passed me a plate of the pie, and to tell you the truth. It looked good. The cherry gooness oozed out the middle spilling on to the spate. I grinned widely and gobbled it down happily.

My father nods stiffly and clears his throat. "Let's go into my office."

I glance at my mom and roll my eyes. For the pass hour and half she has been pacing in front of me and it was annoying me to the max.

"Mum, what is wrong with you?" I asked.

"Nothing, nothing." She mumbles.

Dominic frame came in to view as he smiled at my mother. He glanced at me quickly then did a double take.

"What you do now?" He mumbles.

"She's done nothing. Don't blame this on her." my mom snaps, growling at him. He jumps at her outburst, frowning slightly.

"Why is dad talking to that Marshall guy mum?" I asked.

"Oh. that's the guy that has the Academy on his land. The one that Derek is going to for the year." Dominic explains

I nod. "So why is mom such in a panic?" I ask leaning back into the sofa.

"Well, You're going too."
