I sit on the couch upside down watching fast five. I love the ending when they have the police chase and the ton of money on those two little sports cars. I get hype when the part comes and they reach the bridge.

As it comes on, the electricity shuts off. I growl at the tv getting up, going towards the window opening the blinds so it'll show light into the room. I never really understood why the room was always dark.

I was here by myself, thankfully. Dominic left just this morning to go finish business back at his pack. Derek is on a date with Kasey, I had to send them off because they didn't want to leave me by myself, but I want too anyway, and for Charlie and William, I don't know. Plus I didn't really care.

There was a knock at the door and I open It revealing Mark. I smile at him as he smiles back.

"Hey crazy." He pinches my cheek as I glare at him.

"I'm not crazy." I slap his hand. "And hey yourself."

"Ready to go?" he fixed his collar shirt.

My eyes widen and I nod. "give me a second." I slam the door in his face running into my room. I slip off the sweatpants and tank top changing into high waisted pants with a tight tee.

I run back to the door pulling my hair out the rubber band running my hand through it. I swing the door open and smile at him. "Let's go."

I let Mark lead me out the school and to his car. I slip in as he closes my door. He drives down the road as I rest my head on the cold window cooling my nerves. For some reason, I was scared to be pith with Mark. I didn't like him, I don't want people thinking we were together, and I also didn't want William seeing us together.

Most people would kill to do this, go out with some other guy that isn't their mate, after their mate, just rejected them (not really). They'd want their mate to see them having a great time without them. Me, I rather be in my bed, singing to stupid songs, or on Netflix.

I could see from the corner of my eye that Mark was tapping his finger on the steering wheel as he hummed a tone that was starting to get annoying.

As we come to a stop at a stop light I unbuckle my belt and got out the car walking back to the school, well more like running. it's nothing but a mile or two back and that wouldn't take long.

I reach the stairs of the school taking two at a time, then reaching the other stairs, which leads to the dorms, which is six stories high.

I start to feel pain in my chest before I could reach the third flight of stairs. The pain spreads to my abdomen as ran up the stairs, going faster than I thought. I felt light headed as I reached my dorm opening the door.

I made my way back to the couch as my vision goes black, and I go out like a light.

\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\

Beep. beep. beep.

I feel myself waking up, but not moving. I could hear the breathing of four people, I didn't want to wake up.

I grunt, opening my eyes a little as I feel someone grab my hand. "Oh my baby." Nicki coos. "If they didn't find you I don't know what would have happened."

"Damn it! Deja, what happened?" Derek's voice exclaims.

I open my eyes some more as I see the four people, I knew that was in my room. Nicki, Derek, Dominic, and Royal.

"I'm glad you're okay. I really think it's time for you to come home." My father demanded.

"Let's go. The sooner I finish the sooner I can go." I mumble.

We walk out the hospital and it seemed like it was early in the afternoon as we got in the car driving back to the academy. we reach there after about ten minutes. I got out the car and once again ha to go up another six flights of stairs.

I get to my dorm swinging the door open as it slams into the wall. I jump at how much power I put on the door and my hands fly to my mouth.

"What's wrong with you?" Charlie growls.

I shrug smiling. "Nothing." I catch William in my eyes as I walk to my room putting my belongings in my duffle bag.

"Deja, why is your dorm so high?" my mom ask.

"It's meant for young people, not old vampires." Royal barks.

"Royal, last time you're getting me pregnant." Nicki exclaims.

" Gladly, i have too much fucking children!! I wonder how the hell you got up these stairs faster than me." Royal shouts.

"Because I fucking can!! oi! hello. you two are adorable." My mom coos making me roll my eyes. "Deja, come on. We gonna go eat at a buffet, they got nothing here!!"

"Coming." I mumble.
