I sit next to Kay watching Cartoon Network. It was a weekend and we had nothing to do. Cameron was in some Alpha meeting. it sounded so serious, so I decided to get out the way.

Mary, as always was here sitting about a foot away from me, pissing me off. I felt her glare on me, and it nothing like a simple thing, it's just she does it all the time. Every time she sees me.

I've never done anything to her and I barely know her and she dislike me. I could careless if she does, but I want her to keep her eyeballs to herself and stop breathing in my air, or stop breathing, period.

"Mary." I growl.

I see her jump as I say her name. She catches herself narrowing we eyes at me. "what do you want?"

"I want you to stop looking at me." I turn to her. "the next time I see you watching me I'm clawing your eyes out."

She nods as I turn to watch more tv. I was starting to get tired, but it's only eleven in the morning plus I wanted to hang with Kay this morning then Cam later.

"Deja, I think you should go to bed." Kay takes my arm as I pout.

"I don't wanna." I mumble.

"You have to." She says bringing me up the stairs. "We can hang some other time. Get your rest."

"Fine." I yawn as she puts me to bed bringing the blankets up to my neck. "you know, you'd make a good mommy."

"Deja shush your mouth and close your eyes please." Kay says giggling making me smile.

Maybe I shouldn't have not slept for a week.

"Oh god! is she sick?"

"No, Cam you need to chill."

"Chill!!? This is the longest she's ever slept."

"That's because she barely gets sleep!!"

"Kay, don't raise your voice at me!!"

"I'm not, but you need to listen. She seem to not sleep well enough and you need to make sure she does sleep."

"Kay, how do you know she isn't sleeping good? are you a witch or something?"

"Because she's more cranky and snappy." I hear a thump and a groan.

"You didn't have to hit me."

"Cam, look whatever. When she wakes, give her water."

"Ok."

"You two are annoying." I grumble as I hear the door close.

"Deja." Cameron jumps in the bed wrapping his arms around me.

"Cameron, can't really breAth." I mumble as he loosen his grip still smiling at me.

"Sorry, it's just that, I don't know I come back from the meeting and you're here knocked out. Kay told me she sent you sleep at eleven this morning."

"What time is it?" I grumble.

"Six in the morning." Cameron laughs.

"Oh god." I sit up rubbing my eyes glancing at Cam as he smiles at me.

"I'm fine." Kay says.

"Kay!!" I cry lifting her. "I have to get you to the pack doctor." I turn to the group. "as of y'all, go into the Alpha office."

I run to the pack doctors office setting her on the bed. "Doc I need help."

She turns gasping going to Kay's body. "oh my gosh. Kay, sweetie, what happened?"

"Please help her I'll be back." I kissed Kay's forehead running out the room and up the stairs to Cams room.

"Deja, what happened?" Cam turned on the lights getting out her bed taking my arms. He growled, "why are you covered in blood?"

"They did this to Kay." I chocked out. "how could someone do this."

"Come let's wash up." he whispers pulling me into the bathroom.

"I made them go to your office so you can talk to them." I mumble as he washes my arms. he takes off the shirt giving me his own.

"Okay. Go see Kay I'll deal with them." he pecks my lips before leaving the bathroom as I go to the Doctor office.

"How is she?" I ask walking in the door.

I see her with tubes and all those needles and other things, but they washed her and changed her clothes.

"She is fine." Doc let out a breath smiling. "she needs her rest and she'll be on her feet in about a week."

"Thanks!" I hug the doctor sighing while watching Kay.

I never knew how hard it was to be a friend.
