I roll over on to a body as the groan under my weight.
"Deja. what are you doing in our room." Royal growls.
"Do you know how long I've been in your room? I've been rolling all over you dad." I mumble.
"I know. that's why I want you out. it wasn't annoying the first thirty times, but it's getting old."
"Why are you even in here?" Nicki asked.
"I heard a noise in my room." I whine. "Like something was in my closet or something and I'm scared."
"Deja." Nicki exclaims. "Stop being a punk."
"But mommy."
"Get out." Royal exclaims.
"Fine." I pout slipping out their bed and towards the door. "When you find your underwear all over the pack house, don't get mad."
I slam their door going into Derek's as I see half his body slumped over the side of his bed. I tip toe towards the other side of his bed making sure to not make noise so that I don't wake him up.
"Come closer." he mumbles as I feel his body heat.
"Go back to sleep." I mumble back.
"Nah, I really wasn't sleep. I was waiting for you to come into my room. " He laughs as we both roll over on our backs looking to the ceiling.
"What do you want for your birthday?" He ask.
"A pony."
"Something realistic."
"A rabbit."
"Something someone in the pack won't eat."
"Awwe." I whine. " I want a mate."
"Something all the young hearts want." he smiles down at me.
"Eh. I just wanna feel the love I see others feel."
"You'll get it. Patience young grasshopper."
"What if we were mates?" I asked him as we both look at each other.
He shrugs smiling. "I'd be surprised because us together? Bad news my love."
"True." I laugh. "Plus your my best friend."
"Friend zoned" he sighs putting his hand over his heart. "I was going to spill my heart out to you."
"Sorry." I pout at him. "Bestfriend 101: never fall for the best friend."
"Oh shush." he grumbles pushing my shoulder.
"You know it's true." I flick his nose as he rolls his eyes at me.
"I guess. but I doubt it. We would've been knew."
" go to bed." i grumble rolling over facing away from him.
"I'm trying" he whines.
"Wanna sneak out?" I whisper.
"Window?" he ask as I hear the smirk in his voice.
"Yes." I hop out of bed opening his window sitting on the edge. I look back at him as he raises an eyebrow waiting for me to go.
I jump down landing in the grass and I get up from my crouching position and wait for Derek to jump.
As he jumps we both run to his car backing out the driveway fast. "cut off all connections."
"Gotcha."
"I'm going to get in so much trouble." Derek laughs
"Not as much as me" I shake my head as he shrugs
"Yes! Come see Marcus." my mom pulled me into the house with Cameron following.
"I need a word with you in my office." My father growls at Cam.
"Yes sir." he smiles and looks at me and shrug.
I let my mom pull me up the stairs to a room that had a forest green door.
"Oh I'm so excited." I whispered as my mom opens the door.
There was a little boy who was rolling over towards his bed. He turns to look at us as we enter the room.
"Hey baby." my mom cooes picking him up. "look at big sissy."
"Marcus." I breath out as my mom hands me him. "Heey"
He smiles at me touching my face. i smile back sighing.
"Mom what..." I start and she nods sighing.
"He's blind. the doctor doesn't know what happen, but he is to probably only get 1/3 of his sight back when he gets older." she says.
"Thank god you're a wolfy." I tickle him as he giggles. "you don't need your sight hunny bun."
"I guess." my mom smiles. "so how are things."
"Great." I laugh. "I have little girls that want my man."
"Great. the wanna be."
"Yes. but he's all mine so I'm not worried."
"Someone I would worry for is William."
"Why?" I ask in disgust.
"He isn't right in his head." my mom said rolling her eyes. "be careful. I've basically dealt with people coming after me, more than twice."
I sigh nodding. "okay."
