Without a second thought, Mrs. Naylor gave her the number. Gia immediately dialed it.

Noreen didn't pick up.

It wasn't even because she saw Gia's name on the caller ID; Noreen simply had too many people trying to reach her lately. She was ignoring almost every incoming call.
