Helen's back was stiff, and she could feel that the two people behind her were focusing on her.

Helen stood at the corner of the second floor, leaning against the wall, quietly listening to her husband flirting with her former bestie.

Her heart was so painful that she could no longer feel it.

She quietly returned to her room and went to bed. She hugged the quilt tightly and hid herself in it. She pretended that she was not lonely, heart-broken, nor afraid...
