Noelle headed straight to the Maple Enterprise's office and got back to work.

She checked through the data and started working on debugging the errors along with the rest of her team.

It was already dark outside by the time Noelle came back to her senses.

She stretched her body and glanced at the time. She saw that it was indeed getting late into the night.

Noelle picked up her phone and saw that she had gotten some missed calls and messages from Cedric.

She then immediately called him back. "Sorry, I was too busy to check my phone as I was working overtime at the office."

"I know," Cedric replied.

Upon hearing his voice, Noelle turned around to find him standing behind her.

She put down her phone and replied, "Wait, why are you here?"

Cedric walked up to her and said, "I came to wait for you to get off work. Both grandma and mom reminded me not to come home without picking you up."

Noelle immediately realized the hidden meaning in his words. She looked around at her coworkers and noticed that everyone had their heads down and pretended to be busy with work, even though the work was pretty much done by then.

She then looked back up at Cedric. "I, I see. Let's go then."

Cedric took her hand and glanced around the office. "I brought sushi for everyone for supper. Thank you all for your hard work."

The office immediately erupted in cheers.

Noelle then quickly pulled Cedric away and whispered, "What are you doing?"

"I wanted to get supper for you, but I thought that you'd feel awkward if I only got it for you alone, so I bought some for everyone as well."

Noelle chuckled. "You really think things through, don't you?"
