Noelle was caught off guard by the message, and it took her a moment to process the news. She found it hard to believe that Sean was actually dead.

She quickly asked in the group chat, "How? His death is too sudden."

After all, based on what Noelle knew about Sean and his people, they were so afraid of death that they would do anything to survive, even in prison. There was no way he would suddenly be dead. Besides, she'd never heard of Sean having any illness.

Jeremy replied, "The autopsy isn't even the issue. Before Sean died, he met with someone—the lawyer who used to represent Mia."

Noelle was surprised. "Isn't that lawyer one of Ivy's people? Could it be that she had something to say to Sean? Or maybe their negotiation failed, so she decided to silence him?"

Jeremy responded, "Those are possible. Regardless, there must be a reason for her sudden visit to Sean."
