Not hearing anything about Noelle from the hospital meant that she was not rescued by anyone just yet. It would mean that the only remaining possibility for Noelle was that she had been taken away by Ivy's men.

Just then, Cedric walked over to Emma and Anastasia. The former of the two was so choked up that she could not even speak.

Anastasia was still calm enough to speak. "You must hold on, Cedric. Noelle's a smart girl; she knows how to protect herself. Let's just wait for now. News about her will definitely arrive soon."

Cedric just nodded without saying a word.

The Liddells had also set up a tent nearby. All of Noelle's older brothers were there, waiting for any and all updates on her whereabouts.

Just then, a deliveryman approached the group and said, "May I ask which one of you is Cedric Greene? I have a package for him."

Hearing that, Cedric went over and signed for the package. He felt around the package and reckoned that there seemed to be something inside. He opened up the package and found a bracelet within.

Anastasia immediately spoke up. "That's the bracelet I gave to Noelle!"

Mia quickly nodded and said, "I remember that Noelle was wearing this exact same bracelet yesterday!"

Cedric then turned to look at the deliveryman.

Apparently, Alfred had already questioned the deliveryman thoroughly by then. Alfred explained, "The deliveryman said that he was simply just doing his job to deliver the package after it was left at his station. It was cash on delivery, too."

He had also paid for the delivery fee when he finished questioning the deliveryman earlier.

Eugene took the bracelet and examined it. "This proves that Noelle really is in their hands. She's alive for sure."

Both Anastasia and Emma exchanged a look and said, "So long as Noelle's alive, that's all that matters. We'll pay for her ransom no matter how much it is."

Eugene replied, "I'm afraid it won't be as simple as that. Whoever abducted her is going for the money Ivy was about to take for herself."

Anastasia replied, "How much is it? I'll just pay the same amount!"
