Sienna's P.O.V.

"See you. Have a great night ahead!”

Speaking hastily, Phoebealmost ran out of the mall and unlocked her black Cadillac in the parking lot. Her strong woman attitude deeply impressed me. She sat on the driving seat as an example of a self-sufficient female and raced the vehicle, disappearing in the crowd of Lakon city. Her manly qualities touched my heart.

From her deadly looks to independence, everything was flawless about Phoebe, she wasn't like a delicate princess type girl.

After my return to the Lakon city, my family treated me like a crystal vase, sending guards with me everywhere. A driver was appointed to drop me at my office, as if I couldn't drive. Like today, I wanted to go shopping and Aaron was specifically asked to follow me. It was out of my mind that why would he come when I was buying girly stuff.

Whatever!

I nudged my elbow in my brother's rib cage as he was absorbed in the scene, as if mesmerized by Phoebe's disappearing silhouette. I had to speak loudly to garner his attention.

"She has gone, brother. Come back to this world!”

Tapping my foot on the tiled floor, I glared at him as he acted nonchalantly.

"Yeah, I know!

I was just checking the weather. The rain has stopped"

This weather forecast was irrelevant because of the shopping spree. So, I tried to jog his memory, spreading my palm in front of him.

"Dad has sent you as my bodyguard. So, give me your card, my servant. Your master wishes to splurge your wealth"

"You are such a thief, Sienna!”

Aaron made a face while taking out his wallet, mumbling incoherently.

"Waste of money!

Don't you have a separate account …”

Blah, blah, blah!

He was cursing me under his breath for my robbery, but I wasn't in for his stupid credit card. My mission was to grab Phoebe's visiting card from his wallet. Before she left, we exchanged cards, but Aaron swiftly took it from me. I wanted it back now.

So, I didn't waste a moment and retrieved my treasure, flashing a toothy smile to provoke him.

"Here are the contact details of that goddess from heaven. It's mine now!”

"Don't forget that you are engaged to Bright Wilson now, Sienna!”

His stingy attitude didn't sit well with my happy mood, so I hissed at him.

"So, what?

Can't I admire a gorgeous lady just because of an engagement? It's not a rule or something"

My stubborn response received a bitter glare from Aaron, that sour man pinched my aching nerve.

"It's a rule for girls like you, Sienna. Control yourself before it's too late.

You can't embarrass our family in the Lakon city"

"What do you mean by that, Aaron?”

I snarled at him, "It's none of anyone's business whether I like someone or not"

The author has something to say: Our heroine is indeed a heartthrob.
