NATHAN

I was done playing games.

They thought that they had won. There were no bigger idiots than them.

They had been sitting in their glass castle as they tightened their little security whom they thought could stop me. They really thought they had it all figured out with their webs of security details around their precious life, thinking they could keep me locked away forever.

A cold, cruel smell slowly curled at the edge of my lips and I leaned back against the chair I was sitting in as I scared the taste of the victory that was already coming to me.

No prison could hold me and no wall could stand against me.

Having escaped from prison, my first mission, no, scratch that, the only thing that had been in my mind was finding the Grahams and talking to them. Hell, all I wanted to do was get to Raina and hold her in my hands.

She was always mine and I wanted to get back what truly belonged to me.

I had monitored both Alexa and Dominic, times where they were apart and then together. The two self-righteous idiots that thought they were so smart had no idea how easy it had been for me to bypass the foolery that they called security. All the money they had spent, all their cameras, and still I was able to slip through their hands like a shadow and had them thinking they had won.

It was beyond pathetic.

Now, I was sitting in one of the dimly lit rooms of an abandoned house, it was a place where no one would think to look or believe someone was in. The air was foggy with dust particles and filled with the slow, rhythmic breathing coming from the body that was lying unconscious on the battered mattress.

Raina.

My beautiful and more than perfect Raina.

I pulled my chair closer to the mattress she was laying on and my heart was pounding with a hunger for her that was so deep that it started making me dizzy. Her hair fell around her head and it made her look as ethereal as an angel, her lashes faulty trembled against her cheeks as she remained still as she slept beautifully. I couldn’t help but be in awe of how stunning she looked even while she was unconscious.
