I couldn't believe my eyes, not with what had just happened. I had the evidence right in front of me, but it felt like a tiny part of me had chosen this exact moment to play a prank on me, or worse, mess with my emotions.

What the hell was going on? Or more importantly, what had I just gotten myself into?

I wanted to ask, but who was going to entertain my question? We were alone in the bathroom and even if someone were to stumble in here, the chances that they were wasted and clearly not in their right senses would be through the roof.

A shuffling sound reached my ears, and that was all it took to snap me out of my thoughts. I raised my eyes, and to my surprise, he was still there. The distance between us had reduced a bit, and my foggy mind just couldn't how she when he'd inched closer. Up close, he looked even more handsome than our first kiss. Call me crazy or whatever, but I could swear his lips were still swollen, and the fact that I had a hand in it made my stomach flutter.

He inched closer again, and this time, I didn't budge. His fingers grazed the side of my cheeks and it sent shivers down my spine. My breath hitched in my throat as he trailed the outline of my lips with his thumb. It lingered on my mouth, and for a moment, I had the urge to suck on it, or at least do something crazy.

What was wrong with me? It definitely had to be the alcohol.

His eyes met mine, and even though no words slid past his lips, I felt his eyes said it all.

“Ready?”

I nodded once, and before I could catch my breath, his lips had found mine again. My stomach churned as pleasure pooled in the pit of my belly. One would think that after kissing him twice I would get used to it. Instead, his kisses sent sparks down my spine. I arched my body in response and he deepened his hold on my lips.

A moan bubbled at the base of my throat as he ran his tongue over my bottom lip. He nipped at it, like his very life depended on it. He tasted too much of whiskey and mint, with a hint of something else. Maybe it was that deadly combination that made it so intoxicating, but I was way past caring at this point.

I was too drunk to refuse, too drunk to stop myself from leaning into him. I was too drunk to not like the way his mouth moved on mine. It was slow, hot and addictive, and I wanted more. No, I needed it.

Every nerve in my body was alive, screaming at me to pull back, to stop , to think. But my fingers were already tangled in his dark hair. My body responded in ways I didn't expect, like it didn't care about consequences. Just pure sensation and pleasure.

I was still knee deep into it all, when I heard it. A click, the unmistakable sound of the bathroom door locking.

“We wouldn't want your brother interrupting now, would we?” he whispered, his lips brushing her ear. His voice was snug and intimate, and I shivered.
