“Turn around.” His order came, that stupid smile still on his face that made me want to scratch it off.
“No.” My voice came out stronger than I expected it to, and surprisingly, it made me feel a small surge of power. “I will not do that.”
“Really?” Kye’s eyebrows shot up. He looked more amused than mad, and I had no idea what to think of it. I watched him lean back against the door, before he spoke up again. “Now, you're growing balls?”
“You can't force me.” I huffed the words out. “ I'm not going to do that.”
As Kye stared at me, I couldn't help but replay Dad's words in my head. He'd said I could tell him when something was wrong, that he loved me and would always be here for me. I'd never doubted his love, but I guess it was time to test just how deep his love for me really was.
A small click pulled me out of my thoughts, and I realized it was Kye locking the door. Instinctively, I pulled my shirt over my head . It didn't do much, but I hoped in hell that it would cover me all the more and show Kye that I wanted nothing to do with him. I had no intention of having anything to do with him today. Enough was enough.
“Good girls get rewards, you know that.” Kye continued. “Wouldn't you want yours?”
“No.” I hissed. “You can go fuck yourself for all I care.”
“You have no idea what you're doing to me.” He grinned again. “Fuck, your boldness is giving a boner. If you keep up with this, then…”
He trailed off. I didn't even want him to finish it, and a pang of guilt spread across my chest because I knew what he was hinting at.
“I don't care what or how you feel.” I spat at him. “...just leave me alone.”
“Where's the fun in that?” He asked, all while walking towards me. His hands fell on my waisrt, before he whispered in my face. “I want to kiss you again.”
“No.”
“And why's that Ava?” He sneered. “It's not going to hurt.” He was already leaning in before I could blink. My heart thumped wildly, but before he could get any closer, I slapped him hard across the cheek.
