Isaac also looked at Jack expectantly. He knew better than Joshua what Jack was capable of. He was sure his skills would improve if Jack was willing to train him and Joshua.

Jack finally nodded. "Alright, then. I'll definitely give you guys some pointers if I have the time."

Joshua and Isaac were delighted to hear that and cheerily toasted Jack. Soon, the four of them finished the liquor. They started getting tipsy as they drank.

Just then, there was a slight commotion in the restaurant—it was time for the daily performance. This was one of the restaurant's permanent events, and it always garnered attention. In fact, many people dined at the restaurant because of the performance.

The patrons started guessing who would perform that night. Finally, as everyone watched expectantly, a young woman in a white dress and hair that cascaded to her waist elegantly walked onstage. She sat beside the piano. Her ethereal appearance and demeanor made the hearts of all the men in the room race.

"Are my eyes playing tricks on me? Isn't that Phoebe Bailey?"

"Wait, my dream woman is performing here tonight? This is perfect!"

"I broke up with my girlfriend for her. I have to confess to her tonight!"
