All good things eventually came to an end. It was time for the banquet to wrap up. After dinner was over, Jack and Alexi left Lakeside Hotel together. Alexi was accompanied by a few of his former classmates, one of them being Clarice.

Alexi said to Jack, "Little Holland, when are you traveling to New Vork? Let's meet up when the time comes."

Alexi was already in the know regarding the news of Genesis Games becoming a public-listed company. He knew that it was only a matter of time before it happened.

"I might depart tomorrow," Jack answered. "Everything has been arranged on that side."

"So soon?" Alexi said in surprise. "I still have to stay in Alnewgo for the next few days."

Jack nodded in response. "Claude is very efficient."

Alexi smiled. "Alright then, I won't be able to accompany you to New Vork. However, I still wish Genesis Games success!"

"Thank you," Jack replied, genuinely accepting Alexi's well-wishes.

Jack then finally shifted his gaze toward Clarice, who was standing to the side. She had a smile on her face and still carried herself elegantly, making it difficult for Jack to tell what she was thinking in her heart.

After he was done speaking with Alexi, Jack fixed a smile on his face and asked the question that he had been carrying around in his heart. "Mrs. Cole, I'd like to ask about Bella's whereabouts. Did she really transfer schools?"
