Jaxon tried to divert the topic, “Miss Sage, it’s getting late, do you want to take a shower or…”

Sage abruptly cut him off, “You started as a stunt double in the entertainment industry, is that

right?”

“Yeap…” Jaxon was getting impatient. He was not particularly proud of his past as a stunt double, it reminded him of his lowly days. Yet, he could not afford to displease Sage in any way, so he replied truthfully.

Sage continued, “Was it fun being a stunt double?”

The smile on Jaxon’s face dissapeared, “Nope.”

What was she trying to do?

Sage asked again, “You must be quite nimble, right?”

Jaxon answered, “I’m alright.”

Suddenly, they heard a loud knock on the door. Jaxon looked up and saw his manager Sunny walking in. He was dumbfounded and hinted with his eyes — why are you here?

Sunny looked back and she was surprised to see that he was done.

Sage sat on the couch and turned off the recorder. She said lightly, “Take your artist and leave this place.” They could not tell if she was mad or happy. They just picked up his clothes and left quietly. As they opened the door, they were met with another person.

Jace was talking to the security guard in front of Sage’s room when two men walked out. Oddly enough, one of them was still undressed…
